Slimmest, Stylish Phone (Lacks some useful features)
A first look at this phone and you will be tempted to buy it. However, it makes a lot of sense to go through all that it offers and make the buying decision simply because there is a choice of variety of phones available on the market in the similar category.

Not good -- poor volume and reception
If you need to hear your calls or want decent reception (at least in Downtown NYC), I would pass on this phone.Sure it looks swell, but even at the highest volume position, callers are barely audible above common street noises.I can't fathom why Motorola hasn't fixed this serious design flaw.
Attracted to the phone because of it's size and slim-ness, but very dissapointed
I bought this phone from Cingular, and while I haven't had any major problems with the carrier, the phone is too fragile for everyday use. I've taken good care of this phone and keep it in a leather case, but it's already acting up. The phone randomly shuts off, especially during calls, even though the battery is charged. It seems as if the battery is secure in it's compartment, so I can't figure out what is wrong with it, beside the fact it's just a poorly designed phone. If size is what you're looking for in a phone, I'd look elsewhere.
Razr doesn't cut it
The slim and attractive appearance is undisputed but the ease of use (menus) and reliability needed more attention. They promptly replaced it, both times it didn't work, including a battery that wouldn't hold a charge after only 10 months of use however the replacement battery won't hold a charge near as long as the previous 6 to 8 phones I've had.I might have understood if it were a cheap phone, but with a hefty price tag (I'm embarrassed to say how much I paid for it), I expected the best and got much less.

Tracfone technical support is a joke
I never got to use the phone because I could not set the voicemail up. The instructions on the web site did not work so I called their "technical" support. It was clear from the start they are using outsourced staff who have no knowledge of the product and a less-than-adequate command of the English language. I spoke to 4 different people, each of whom put me on hold repeatedly as they tried in vain to find someone else in the call center who knew how to address the problem. I spent an entire day calling them (I was repeatedly told we need to reset something call back in 4 hours...). One person told me my local (Seattle)carrier had no email or phone number and they had to write them a note about my problem and Fed ex it to them!! I asked repeatedly if there was another level of technical support I could be escalated to and was told no. The last person I spoke to told me after a half hour on the phone with her that my brand new Nokia phone required voicemail to be set up AND RETRIEVED BY A LANDLINE ONLY!!! I could not believe this was correct but it was clear there was no one there who had a clue about how to fix what should have been an extemely simple problem. I find it insulting that a company would ask for my money and loyalty and provide this type of "support" in return. I want nothing to do with Tracfone, and have heard Net10 is also owned by them. If you care about customer service stay far away from these providers.
Great secondary device and service
I had a relative visiting from abroad and wanted to provide them with a temporary phone. Tracfone serves well under these situation. I wouldn't boast of its reception ability but will say with confidence that it performs sufficiently well as a side phone. This is a good service if you barely use your phone or desire to be contract free.
Service was way too expensive
I got this Tracfone as a gift, and it's an OK phone, but the service was very expensive.I did about 100 minutes of calling a month and was spending about $35.I ended up going to Virgin Mobile and got a great little plan that had tons of minutes for the same $35 ($34.99 for 300 anytime minutes and 1000 Night and Weekend minutes).Plus, my Virgin Mobile phone was much better.

Pros: I have had this phone for 4 months and it works great.
Not bad... but one REALLY annoying design glitch
I changed jobs, and the corporate standard is the Blackberry, so I had to give up my much-loved Treo 650. At least I was able to keep my number and swap the old SIM into the new phone.
Great Phone!!!!
First I would like to say that i also had the treo 650 and it was a great phone!! But I was sold on the blackberry by a coworker. The Blackberry is everything you need. Email accounts are cool you can link your personal and companies accounts to your phone and blackberry give you a personal email too.Texting and instant messaging are just amazing on this phone, just plain faster. The one thing I would say is buy the phone that fits your needs!!!

Verizon (VERI Zucky versiON) black model purchased
The RAZR WAS a cool phone. Verizon's firmware really sucks. It is not user friendly at all. It takes additional keystrokes to simply get to your address book to scroll for a number or to send a text message. The phone and Verizon do have great reception but that's about all I can say good about this. The memory card slot is in the battery bay so it isn't readily accessible should you wish to remove/add a card. I am happy to be with Verizon but really regret not returning the phone and trying another one.
Great Value!
I bought this from my service provider and have definitely enjoyed it.I do not take part in the extras that you can get like the Vcast (someone else would probably get more enjoyment out of it with the Vcast) but in spite of that have had no trouble with this phone. It is very compact and has a flat numeric pad; which I think is a great feature.I also like the way the phone book is set up and with the service provider I have and the bluetooth headset makes this phone a joy to have and use.
an alright phone, but lots of problems
Okay, well I just got my second razor yesterday and Ive only has this for 8 days. The last v3m razor that I had, froze constantly, the texting always lagged, and I wouldnt even get a texting menu anymore telling me I had a new text, the text would just pop up. So I really got mad and returned the phone yesterday, but since I got locked into taht 2 year contract thing, I had to just get a replacement. So I got a replacement, and the battery is amazing now(i only got 7 hours at the most out of my phone) and the texting is fine now, but now, it doesnt let me know when I get a new voicemail. I have to go and check my voicemail every 5 minutes to see if I have a new one. It is soo annyoing. I am never buying a razor ever again! It is the worst phone EVER! Don't even think about buying this thing! You'll just have problems after problems after problems. I can't wait to get rid of this thing.

Phone Keeps Freezing!
I am on my second Treo 700p from Verizon.I would love to love this phone - but it keeps freezing! As others have posted, I have the same problems - random freezing only cured by battery removal.
Unusable for business
I almost never write a review like this, but the 700P is a device that never should have been released.I am on my 4th phone in 2 months; and have spent hours/days fighting with Sprint about this device.
Profoundly disappointing and aggravating
I had a Palm way back when, and reverted to the old diary after it went down en route to a critical meeting.Four years later finds me in the same boat, again, with more expensive, more cumbersome, but still non-functional equipment.Every criticism you see below is true. This is simply not a successful product. If you are a computer geek who enjoys the journey more than the result, doubtless there's something to be gotten from re-working the same piece of information twenty times because the software has failed in one way or another. For those of us who want a tool that works, i.e., as a pencil works (you write it once, and it's there) this is a morass of annoyance.I don't know if they will ever figure out the bugs, but this is nowhere close.

can use only one hand!
I had a stroke a little over one year. I have to have a phone thats easy to opperate with one hand. light.I have to have a phone all the time. safty issues!! I love this phone. some nice things like a camera to take pictures and a voice recorder.
This phone is awful
This is, by far, the WORST phone I have ever owned!I've only had it for 5 months and already the battery is worn out and it is starting to malfunction.VERY disappointed!I will NEVER buy a motorola again!Don't waste your money on this garbage!I will stick to the LG brand, as I am going to have to shell out major $ for a new phone.BUYERS BEWARE!
HELLO MOTO!!!!!
I purchased this phone from my local T-Mobile store along with an Unlimited Nights/Weekends/1000 Whenever Minutes plan and I must say, I am very impressed. The phone is beautiful and thin, and although this phone has been available for a long time now, I still can't get over how thin it is.Reception is great, and compared side by side to my old Samsung x475(T-Mobile, same network as the RAZR), the RAZR always wins on the reception.Where my Samsung gets 1 bar to no service in my room where I am typing this from, the RAZR gets a steady 3 bars, sometimes 2 but it never goes below that.On my old samsung, calls sounded weak and the audio would clip a lot, sometimes the call would even get dropped.I have yet to see my new RAZR drop calls. The screen on this phone is beautiful, or at least the main screen. The front screen on the outside of the phone is color but it seriously lacks contrast and color saturation. However, for an external screen, it does just fine. This phone also has bluetooth and has worked flawlessly with my bluetooth headset.I have also been able to send pictures taken with the RAZR's camera to my friend's camera-less phone via bluetooth. If you are looking for an affordable, stylish, bluetooth-rocking cell phone, this is the one.

MSN Support
When I purchased my Blackberry 8700G, I was told that I could receive my email from MSN. It worked a couple of months, and then all of a sudden I couldn't receive emails. I spent 10 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved, and was finally told that T-Mobile didn't support receiving emails from MSN...even though that is what the saleslady told me. I asked to have the device replaced with one that I could receive emails and was told by T-Mobile that they couldn't do that. So now, I'm stuck with a $300 device that won't perform as it was sold to me. Be aware... I've been a customer since 2000 and they won't even try to accommodate me, even though they weren't truthful when they sold me the product.
Indispensably Intuitive
The Blackberry 8700g is a dream come true.Lightweight, incredibly intuitive, this phone has lightening fast email (even from the subway system in NY), the organizer linked right up with Microsoft Outlook, and the screen is easy to read even in the brightest sun.The keyboard is perfectly sized and the bluetooth and speakerphone round out the experience. As a performer, I'm constantly away from my home and office...this little puppy keeps me connected and organized during the day, so I don't have so much catching up to do when I get home. And the quad band phone will keep me connected when touring overseas. T-Mobile customer service the best I've encountered.
Could be better
It's very handy for email.

Bad choice
I bought the Razr thinking it was awesome! Oh how I wish i would have looked into more!
I hate this phone
I bought 2 Razr V3 pink phones for my family plan of 4.I was veryunhappy with the phone. The memory is too low, I don't even know why this phone has the video playback since it doesn't have enough memory to do so.No card slot to increase increase memory too.I regret buying this phone. Now I can't exchange these 2 phones for different ones.People, don't get this phone at all, only if you use for basic features. There are much better phones on Amazon to get.
I HAD to have this phone and now I hate it
When the pink razrs came out, I knew I had to have one. They looked really cool. So, I waited patiently til I was eligible for my upgrade (Cingular) and then ordered it immediately!

Sexy Phone with Overall Good Build Quality
i have had this phone for over a week now, and i am very satisfied. let me tell you for the price you are getting is a steal. how can one make money by getting a new phone? i dont know but i dont really care either.
Poor design
I can hardly pick this phone up without accidentally hitting the volume or speakerphone button. The manual that comes with it uses little icons instead of written words. Besides being almost indistinguishable from one another, these icons make reading the instructions akin to reading a coded message. You really have to stop and study each icon to figure out what the hell they are talking about. From brand new, the battery needs recharging less than every 48 hours. Just doesn't seem to hold a charge worth a darn. Poor reception... really poor inside. The menu buttons seem to be strategically designed to get you to use the various V-cast and additional charges type functions. It makes it harder to use simple phone functions. I bought the case for it and it's a bust too. The way it's made, the phone won't close properly and the clear cover over the keys, makes pressing them individually almost impossible. I have nothing good to say about the design or function of this phone.
Why I like the Samsung a930...
I don't know why people rate this phone so bad, when it really isn't so bad.I'm writing this review for my mom since we both own the phone right now (My name is Keli speaking for mom - Deslina). We got it as a deal by just going to the Verizon store (2 phones with new contract for $100 with a $50 rebate = $50 spent for 2 of these phones). That was just the first positive option I found for this phone.
