Don't buy this phone.
4-0 out of 5 stars The good and the bad
I have been using this device for 8 months and been pretty happy with it. As with all phones and PDA's it has it quirks. The biggest one being that it occasionally locks up and there is no rhyme or reason to why and sometimes takes 20 minutes to get the thing reset and back up and working. It is not something that happens all the time but it does happen.
2-0 out of 5 stars Good until it stops working
I liked this phone pretty well until the 'shift' key stopped working. It started acting up a week before warranty ran out--unfortunately, I didn't click to that, and I waited to see if it would work itself out.It just got worse.

2-0 out of 5 stars Its cute but it stinks :(
I love certain things about the phone. It has a keyboard so text messaging is soooo easy. The camera is decent too.But I've had it 13 months.7 months in, the mic stopped working mid conversations and I'd have to call back.Than in a couple of weeks, went out totally. What good is a phone when people can't hear you?!
1-0 out of 5 stars WORLDS WORST PHONE BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
If it was possible to rate this cell phone a 0 then I would...
4-0 out of 5 stars Had some problems ... now doing well
The phone is very handy with a good keyboard and lots of features. The problem with my first phone was a malfunction of several keys ("1", "8", and green talk button). They did not work, so I exchanged it within the first month. Two months later, the microphone stopped working.I could hear people, but they couldn't hear me.Hopefully 3 times is a charm.I have had the current phoen for 4 months with no further problems.I've had no charging problems like other people.I also have poor reception in my house, but I'm not sure if it's the phone or T-mobile. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars If you care about reception more than style.
I've tried many phones for this service (including the awful Sony Ericson phones), but this one takes the cake as the one with the best reception. Yes, I'll admit that it's not the most attractive phone on the market (in fact, it's probably the biggest phone T-Mobile has besides the Sidekick), but it definately has the best reception of the bunch. I'll also admit that I only buy phones based on its reception quality. I don't care about its looks or what it does; as long as it keeps me in contact with my friends and family, I'm hooked. Nope, it doesn't have a camera, nor does it play those ring tones that sound just like the song it's playing; it's just a standard cell phone that you'd be thankful you had when an emergency arises. It does connect to T-Zones so you can read your email and download the latest wallpaper, so don't feel that this phone only caters to people want a phone with the latest features. I'll admit... I was jealous with my friends getting the latest cell phone technology, but I just laugh at them when my cell phone actually works at a time when I need it the most. I definately recommend this phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars I accepted a downgrade in style for an upgrade in reception
I had a Nokia 3595 when I first signed up with T-Mobile and almost never had reception issues. Then when it was time to renew the contract a year later I went with the sexier Samsung E195 flip phone. I liked that it had a bigger screen with larger text (I'm 50). The rings were nicer to listen to and it was smaller if I ever put it in a pocket.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good Basic Phone with Excellent Reception and Battery Life
The Nokia 6010 has always given me good signal strength, and the battery life is amazing (especially the standby time). The interface is very intuitive, and all the basic necessary features are there.

3-0 out of 5 stars horrible echo
The phone overall is okay. In my family, we have two of these phones. With my phone, I hear an echo every once in a while. My husbands phone has an echo every time he uses the phone. So everything he says is repeated back to him again about a second later. It makes every conversation very difficult. With that said, the point of the phone is to talk to someone and this phone does not do a good job of allowing you to do that.

3-0 out of 5 stars Average phone.
I've had this phone for almost a year.I got it for free after a rebate. It's all right for my first cell phone, but I'm thinking about an upgrade.

3-0 out of 5 stars GOOD phone..THIS REVIEW WILL HELP...
I got this phone for my birthday...first time I saw it I loved it...it looked really awesome... I had the phone for about 5 monthes when one time the screen turned white...like I noticed another person who reviewed this phone said the same thing.I took out the battery and then put the battery back in and it was all ok again. It happens every so often...ive had the phone for nearly 11 months now, and its only gone white about 3 times... them i noticed that there is a squshy thing around the keys and that if you push that down to hard it causes the screen to go white, because everytime it turned white i was fiddling with the squshy thing...so if you get this phone i wouldnt mess with the squshy thing. But it is also easy to scratch since the front screen is somewhat like a mirrior.and scratches easily show up on the silver part..i was really careful about dropping the phone because its soo pretty looking.the camera is good, except the pictures comes out to dark. also sometimes id turn it off and turn it on and it would say it needed a sim card, even though it was in already in the phone...soo i would have to take the battery out and push the sim card in it. I REALLY LOVED THIS PHONE THOUGH. it doesnt have aim or anything but ive never seen anyone with this phone EVER.. its a really unique cool phone. I enjoyed it a lot.... yeah..but the color on the screen for the phone is really clear.
1-0 out of 5 stars worst phone ever
I got this phone 3 months ago as a replacement for the previous worst phone ever (the sharp tm 150). I kept the phone in perfect condition not a scratch on any of the screens maybe one or two small scratches just from regular wear. About two weeks ago the zero button stopped working which is quite a pain in the ass when you are trying to dial a number with a zero in it. Then a couple days ago my phone started to drop all outgoing calls after 2 rings and when trying to pick up an incoming call it says connecting for a couple seconds and hangs up (I called it myself to make sure). The phone is now useless as a phone and t-mobile wants to send me a replacement but my friend who runs a t-mobile store and 2 mall booths said that he doesnt even offer the phone because it is such a piece of crap. Now when T-mobile store managers say the phone blows does that make you want to get another one. When I told them I didn't want the same phone they said they can send me a phone with comparable features for $150 dollars but why would I want to spend another dime on their products and services when the last two phones I have gotten from them broke.
5-0 out of 5 stars Flashy without the actual FLASH!
I had been wanting this phone for about 4 months before I got it. The thing that drew me to this phone so much is since I am in college and everyone has a cell phone I wanted a cell phone that no one had. Out of whereve I have ever been I have only seen this phone once before, so I had to have it since it was such a limited demanded item.

1-0 out of 5 stars IF ANYONE CAN HELP?
I bought two of these phones for my wife and myself. She was the smarter of the two of us and went back to her old Nokia phone after a few weeks.I had to prove I didn't make a mistake so I kept using it, much to my frustration.
1-0 out of 5 stars avoid this phone
Have never beforehad such a poor experience with a single piece of electronic equipment. Returned the first one after 6 months as screen went dead. The replacement phone from T-mobile the screen failed againafter two months, and the 2nd replacement refused to charge after about a month. I threw in the towel and accepted a replacement of a different model phone.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not that bad of a phone
I have used tons of motorola phones over the years from the v120 to the v330.The v330 does have a couple problems with it well at least for me it did. After a couple months I had problems using the chargers.I switched out 4 chargers, and each one would work good for a couple weeks, then you would have to fiddle with them to charge the phone.

Why settle for less, or commit yourself to a specific cellular provider and service plan, when you can get a complimentary unlocked top of the line Motorola RAZR v3i cell phone that works with any cellular service provider and any SIM card. I got mine free at this web site:ilikethis.info/razrv3i

3-0 out of 5 stars It's perfect if you want just the basics.
This was a pretty nice phone while it lasted. I had to trade up to a Motorola PEBL just because my x475 was getting annoying. Some of the reviews with the muffled speech I had never a problem with. But, you just can't customize it like you should be able to.
2-0 out of 5 stars An Average Buy
I bought this phone on the T-mobile website for free(web-based discount) and only paid for the shipping and handling (February '06). Reading the product summary on the phone on the T-mobile website made it sound like this fantastic over the top phone. But to me, I wasted money and should have went with a camera phone and paid more and gotten better features and enjoyment with some other phone.

2-0 out of 5 stars Great Intentions - However some issues with product quality
This was a great phone and the product has great intentions but has few bugs to work out.It worked fine for about a week, then the keypad started to not recognize a few keys.We sent it back and Amazon has a great return policy and the return was easy.We haven't purchased a replacement yet.....I'm hoping T-Mobile works out the problems with the keypad and that we can get a more dependable product in our next purchase.Would really like to get a new phone, but am a little worried right now that if I get a replacement that the same problem will follow since I've read that other purhcases have also had problems with the keypads not working properly.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this phone!!!
When they named it Sidekick that's exactly what it is.I don't go anywhere without it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Presently surprised!
PROS: Practical for everyday use of AIM and AOL messaging, email for web based and POP3 services, web browsing and text messaging. Easy to navigate through menus/functions. Big bright screen.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great phone!
I have had my Nokia 3220 phone for one year and about 3 months. It still works perfectly.Yes the bumpers have fallen off, but supposedly you can replace them.I dont care enough to go get new ones. The loudspeaker option is great, the bumpers with the lights is very ... appealing. The battery is still holding well, and I never turn it off.I can keep my phone on without charging for 2 days. The buttons are big.You can text without looking at the buttons because they are above the face of the phone. It's kind of space agey looking, which I hated at first, but it's grown on me. You can put it in your pocket and forget its there. It is a thick phone but thinner than most flip phones when they are closed.
3-0 out of 5 stars It's a phone
I loved this thing when I got it a year ago. Since then the weird stuff covering the lights on the side has peeled off. It was really gross. Never touch it, all four of them peeled off slowly, and I'm sure that's not good. It decides when it wants to ring and not and what ringer it wants to use and not use. No matter how many times I go and change my ringer sometimes it will use that default T-mobile one. Other than those complaints it's a great phone. I love Nokia, it was cheap, and it works.

4-0 out of 5 stars I've had it since Feb. 2006
Ive had this phone since Feb 2006 and the damn thing doesnt want to ring. At first when I took it out of the box, it wouldnt work. But then I charged it and started messing around with it then it started ringing. Then after about a week it stopped ringing. I would do numerous things to see what was wrong with it but nothing happened. Then after a couple weeks (I was lucky I had another phone to switch back and forth which I still do) it decided it wanted to ring again. Then it stopped ringing after about a week and a half. This phone is rebelious about ringing. Im actually about to go to the T-Mobile store to go change it. It sucks that this happens because I absolutely love this phone except for the fact that it doesnt want to ring. Ive surprisingly never dropped the phone but it doesnt want to ring. Oh well, gonna have to go change it. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Try tracfone instead !!!
Tracfone gives better deals in minutes. It is perfect for those with light, in town usage. It only uses one unit per minute, two if you're outside of your area code(roaming), and long distance doesn't cost any extra. The airtime doesn't cost a fortune, and you have no credit checks, or monthly bills. Reception is good because they utilize many different providers instead of just one. They also have a referral program, so you can earn 100 extra minutes for free if your friends and family buy one too(they also get 180 minutes). If you want a referral to get started with 100 free minutes, just e-mail me at amitgames@yahoo.com , I'd be happy to send you the link!

3-0 out of 5 stars Durable but...

4-0 out of 5 stars good little phone!
Got this phone with the T Mobile prepaid plan.I got mine at Target for $119.Be sure to check T Mobile's website for any rebates they may be offering. It's a fine little phone--it's so small! It fits in my jeans pocket.I can't download any ringtones; because I'm a prepaid customer, which is kind of disappointing.I couldn't get a signal in Longbeach, WA, but my husband's Verizon phone got a signal.Probably a T Mobile issue. But I'm hardly ever in Longbeach; usually, I have as many or more bars on my signal finder as my husband has on his Verizon phone. It's easy to use and easy to check my minutes balance. The only thing is, I can't figure out how to make it ring more than four times before going to voicemail--it takes me a long time to get the phone out of my pocket and then answer it; and just as I say hello, it has gone to voicemail.Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the T Mobile prepaid plan and the V66 phone. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Horrible audio, pictures, and video. Otherwise just OK.
I've had this phone for a year now, and I'm sorry I ever bought it. The audio is absolutely HORRIBLE! Sometimes it's actually hard to understand the person calling, even with a 5 bar signal.
4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Phone
This Motoraola phone is Great. I had it for 6 months now( 3 three months prepaid and Now 3 months contract). the V330 is very realible and has great reception and super fast internet. Although with Pre-Paid service a lot of the phones features are disabled such as internation-roam, t-zones games, t-zones internet, and t-zones video. Before travilng abroad with this phone have it unlocked( After T-Mo does it for free) and get a sim card from the country you're in cause T-Mo roaming is supa expensive.
2-0 out of 5 stars Try a different phone
I have had so many problems with this phone and the service. Many times, when I'm trying to call someone, the phone would just sit idle, while it says that it's "calling" someone. I would have to shut it off and try again, only for it to happen again and again. Also, sometimes, when I'm dialing someone who is on my speed dial, and that I've called numerous times before, it would dial and reach another person. This gets to be quite ridiculous. Also, sometimes, when I'm calling someone, the phone will ring once and then won't ring again. It's frusterating, and personally, I'm glad that they took this phone off the market, however, I'm not quite convinced that it's just the phone. ...

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this phone
this phone is the best well it is my only one so shut up

4-0 out of 5 stars A decent phone by Nokia, but nothing special
This is a very good phone for anyone who is a Nokia fan or who doesn't want anything fancy. It will call people and receive calls. It has a color screen, downloadable ring tones and games, and has a decent audio quality. There is no camera or bluetooth or advanced organization tools. It is growing increasingly outdated and by a year from now hardly anybody will be using it anymore, but if you own this phone I wouldn't go running to throw it out just yet.It gets the job done, but isn't going to wow you in the process. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Well rounded, durable phone with some nice features
I was a little discouraged about getting this phone after reading some reviews, but I have had it for about 10 months now and can't be happier. I've had 4 different cell phones in my life and this one has been the best one so far. Two have been Samsung and I think they're one of the best cell phone makers. (Nokia is a horrible brand, I don't recommend Nokias.) This is a good quality phone that has outlasted a few falls and a quick fall into a sink with the water running. It takes pretty good pictures as far as I'm concerened. One thing about the camera part of the phone is that after taking a picture it comes out a little further away than it looked before you took it, but that is something you can get used to. I rarely have reception problems. The speaker phone works great. The only thing some people might not like is having to confirm turning the speaker phone on, but it's something you can get used to as well and it isn't a big deal. I really love this phone. It's a simple, durable, well rounded phone with some nice features. My whole family has this exact same phone and none of us has had any problems so far. We've all dropped the phone plenty of times with no problems whatsoever. The phone also has good battery life. I can go 2 or 3 days without recharging it. I highly recommend this phone or any Samsung phones.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nice Looking but Poor Reception
Great looking phone, very small and lightweight.Unfortunately, the antaenna doesn't cut it.I get no reception in places where everybody else has reception, and in places where there is interference, the phone drops calls regularly. For example, I can't talk with the hands-free adapter and have the phone in my pocket.I also can't talk whilst using my laptop, probably because of interference from the laptop's wireless internet connexion. This is an older phone, so I guess this problem is down to phone manufacturers' inexperience with making internal antaenna phones.I understand newer ones (e.g., the Pebl) are better.
4-0 out of 5 stars No frills phone works great as a cell phone
The Samsung E335 is a great little cell phone. It has one of the easiest interfaces to learn and is very easy to use.It is small enough to fit in most pant pockets and stylish enough with today's trends. It is pretty sturdy and seems well made.

5-0 out of 5 stars Forget all the hype - this is a nice phone
I'm sick of seeing razrs everywhere. I went from this to a razr and back to this again, because this is a great phone.
4-0 out of 5 stars Big Fatty does a decent job
The Nokia 6600 has a colorful screen with easy to use menus. The battery life is okay with a lithium-ion battery. You can change out the face plates if you get sick of the color you currently have and you can store multiple phone numbers per contact name in addition to some other details such as address, company, etc. The downside of this phone is it's big/fat and the loading of some menu options can be slow. However, it is a sturdy phone and if compared to other 'smart phones' it does a decent job. ;-) I am replacing my new razr with this one since my razr was a total lemon.

2-0 out of 5 stars i dont believe it is nokia
i bought this phone 16 months ago i had a lot of problems with that phone , i can not call (because it says call not allowed ,it happens 10-15 times in a day), it doesnt show your recent call logs (sometimes),if u drop it on ground it takes big damages(too soft body),etc

This big upgrade to the popular X475 adds great features like a speakerphone and a brighter, clearer main display. Plus, it looks a heck of a lot sexier. The X495 also supports MP3 ringtones, so you can really make some noise when the phone rings. 4-0 out of 5 stars Get a free unlocked Motorola RAZR v3i instead!
Why settle for less, or commit yourself to a specific cellular provider and service plan, when you can get a complimentary unlocked top of the line Motorola RAZR v3i cell phone that works with any cellular service provider and any SIM card. I got mine free at this web site:nocostnow.info/razrv3i

2-0 out of 5 stars Stay Away From x495
The Samsung x495 looks sleek and cool but doesn't really meet my basic expectations. I used to have a Kyocera on Verizon's service and switched because I wanted something a little more affordable.Choosing this phone/Tmobile was a big mistake.I'm paying less but I get a fraction of the quality.
3-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money
This is the second Samsung x495 that I've owned. The messenger service quit working on the first one I had. When going to use the messenger feature, the phone would shut off on it's own & turn back on by itself. Luckily it was just days before the store warranty was to expire so I took it back & exchanged it for another of the same model. Well the store I purchased & returned it to only had three models to choose from, the Nokia 6010 and the newer Nokia which cost more than I could afford. So I exchanged it for a new Samsung x495 and this one is having problems as well. I just got it a couple days ago. The phone shuts off on it's own which is not a good thing because I use the alarm feature to wake me up. The messenger service on both of these phones is poor. When I type a message, the screen freezes. It does have poor reception, even when trying to send a text message. Alot of times the texts will fail to go through and if your using the T-Mobile to go service like I am, you still get charged 10 cents whether or not the text actually goes through or not. It costs 10 cents just to log into messenger and even more if you are able to send messages without the screen freezing up on you. The games, the wallpaper and the ringtones that are already on this phone when you purchase it are really bad. I do have to say that the phone looks really nice but that's the only good thing about it. Now I'm going to have to take this phone back and I'm going to get my money back this time and try to find something better. This phone is a complete waste of money. T-mobile support isn't the greatest either. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars maybe 3.75
ive had this phone for 2 years. yes, that is way too long. it's a good phone. it has great memory but many phones have upgraded. back then, when the phone first came out, i think it may have been one of the first with bluetooth capacity. the pros: while using an Apple laptop and transferring photos by bluetooth from my phone to the laptop, the picture quality was pretty good. Good talk time, standby time. No zoom for the camera but you can zoom in after you take the picutre. a lot of functions... CONS: size, it's bulky and big. it was too big for many of my smaller purses. there is something up with the application. my first phone went out because of some application error problem a little over a year. when this phone breaks, it simply does NOT turn on. you can charge it all you want, but all you will get is the Nokia intro pics and what not and then boom, it's off and WON'T turn back on. So actually, I've had my phone for 2 years, but actually it was my mom's phone for 2 years. my same phone, BROKE. I think it may have something to do with ALL the pictures I took. another PRO, you can store a LOT of pictures. hope this helps.

4-0 out of 5 stars great phone
ive had this phone for almost a year..it is a superb phone.it has the greatest reception for any phone ive ever had.my other cell phones would never have any bars inside my house, but with this phone i have at least 3 all the time.the charging only takes about an hour or 2 at the most.the pictures kind of suck, and the videos you take are real blurry, but other than that its great.but im getting rid of it because im the type of person that needs a different phone every year, i cant have the same phone for longer than a year, i just dont know, i want another one, planning to get the razr black...

4-0 out of 5 stars Great phone, small buttons
I bought this phone a year ago and have had no problems whatsoever. I did replace the stock faceplate with an aftermarket faceplate and leaned against something and cracked that faceplate. The realplayer is useless without a stereo headphone jack. The screen is large, but the buttons are very small for fat digits. Bluetooth is great and Nokia quality is unsrpassed. Four stars for small buttons and no stereo headphone jack. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars The Little Phone That Couldn't
If you just want a phone to make calls, this one is it. ONLY for making calls. If you plan on making full use out of all features advertised, it is disappointing.
4-0 out of 5 stars A good little phone.
I got this phone just because I needed one.I wasn't particularly looking for this model but it was in my price range at the time.My last phone was a Motorola.I have had Nokia's in the past and now I have no idea why I ever left the brand.I have found this phone very reliable and love the fact I can receive radio on it.Whenever I have to walk somewhere etc I can play the radio and still have one ear listening to what is happening elsewhere.I have found the battery life to be amazing and many times I have misplaced my charger just because it has been so long since I had to charge up my phone. It doesn't have a camera however which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. But if you are like me and rarely use the camera you will not miss it.I love the fact it is tiny, compact and light. It is a great little phone. ...
