3-0 out of 5 stars Cute and durable but quite slow
I've had this phone for about a year now. It was my first cell phone, and at first I was really pleased with it.
5-0 out of 5 stars Compact & Convenient Phone
I bought this phone from T-mobile, and i found this phone is really a good choice. My first phone is Sony Erricson T216, it is also small, but not so convenient to use.
4-0 out of 5 stars excellent product for the price
I have had this phone for over a year now and it's still working great.

1-0 out of 5 stars The worst phone that I had ever bought
The phone is slow, and the keybooard is too responsive.Sometimes I press one number and it is dialed twice. When I answer calls usually they are put on hold.I wont buy any other sony ericsson product ever.At least mobile phones. Also, sometimes the home charger does not charge my mobile. It is really bad.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad phone
This phone is fine but the joystick will break and you will not be able to use the phone.

3-0 out of 5 stars a great phone if it wasn't for the weak-link joystick
This was my second Sony-Ericsson phone (the first was a T68i), and the fatal flaw in both phones was poor joystick design. In both cases, after about a year and a half of light to normal use, the joystick started to work erratically.Movement either did not register, or registered as 'Enter' rather than movement.Since you cannot do anything on this phone without using the joystick, it becomes difficult to perform basic actions, such as locating and calling a contact. It also means that I frequently make and have to quickly cancel multiple accidental calls due to unintended input before I make it to the intended number in the contact list.I will never again purchase a cell phone that has a joystick.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awkward design, but EXTREMELY durable
I've had my Nokia 3595 phone for about four years now.During that time, I've dropped it while walking about a thousand times, have had it run over by a car once, dropped it in water and paint a few times, etc., and the phone is good as new. It's a great starter phone...I'm kind of technologically awkward, so I'm still using it.Very easy to use and virtually indestructible.
4-0 out of 5 stars Indestructible
What this phone is really all about is not so much looks but actually reliability and function. This phone has just about everything that a good phone needs. The only real let down that i could manage to think of is that there is no camera. Also, that it's not exactly the sleekest looking phone.Putting aside these minor negatives however, I have to mention the fact that this phone is truly indestructible.I have literally dropped my phone from a balcony two stories up onto a solid paved surface. When I retrieved my phone there were a few marks here and there, but otherwise it was still good as new. This is one of my many experiences of me dropping this brick-like electronic. The thing is seriously the most durable phone that I have ever known. How many phones can be dropped repeatedly like this and still function flawlessly? (Not many)When purchasing this phone, be prepared that you will probably have it for a very long time because it will take a lot to have to replace this thing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Phone I've Owned.
The best phone I have ever owned was the Nokia 3595. Colored screen, text messaging capabilities, charming ringers, and a very interesting keypad made it more than your average phone. Many people fail to consider the Nokia 3595 right away because it is not a flip phone; however, it does include a key guard, which prevents random calls when put in your pocket or purse.Compared to my new Motorola i830, through Nextel, the 3595 is simple to use and provides a longer lasting battery. One nice characteristic of the 3595 is the on screen display of instructions for each menu option. The 3595 is a great choice for new mobile phone users because it is less expensive, durable, and easy to operate. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars unbreakable...but
I agree with all, I have had this phone for over 4 years because I like candy bar style phones and it looks kinda cute. I have dropped ita thousand times and yet...it keeps on working. Lately though I discovered that it does not connect calls, so I have to shut it off and back on to make it work again. Unfortunately its not the fastest rebooter. I find the reception is impeccable and the quality of hearing the other person is very good. So I guess I will keep it for another while, since nowadays only flip phones seem to be sold :(

4-0 out of 5 stars Had for years
I have had this terminator of a phone for a few years now.The software for it is wonderful.I can store multiple numbers for everyone, and have a little icon indicating if its a mobile number or a home number.Pictures and ringtones are customized for each person, and I can send out mass text messages to my buddies when I'm having a get together.
5-0 out of 5 stars agree with the indestructible part
I've had the phone for a couple of years. I've lost it in the car, dropped it a number of times, just like the other reviewer. The phone's latest adventure was that I lost it in the blizzard in Washington, DC a couple of weeks ago.It fell out of my pocket and got buried in 6 inches of snow, but I didn't notice for an hour or so.By then I was on the other side of the city.I called the people who lived at the place I thought I dropped it, and asked if they could try calling it to find it in the snow. They couldn't hear it.After more than a week, the snow melted enough that they found the phone.I had flown back across the country and even ordered a replacement phone.Their son told me yesterday he had it and brought it to me.It not only fired up right away, but after a little wiggling around it is now even charging back up and seems to work just fine. ... Editorial Review

Impressive in terms of sheer design, this little flip phone approaches perfection. A combination of equal parts efficiency and flash, the Samsung S105offers a comprehensive package of standard features and fun, useful extras. When closed, the phone appears alluringly hi-tech with its silver finish, rectangular body, and external LCD display, which shows date, time, battery level, service icon, and caller ID. And, even though the phone only weighs four ounces, it still feels substantial. When flipped open, the S105 doesn't disappoint. Its brilliant full-color LCD with its animated menus, uniquely shaped buttons, and blue backlit keypad numerals dazzles the eye. The folks at Samsung certainly know the power of symmetry, form, and color.Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars 3 stars for 12 months of performance
************Samsung in general: the speaker quit working on the first Samsung I owned (with Sprint)after about 1.5 yrs.(Sprint refused to sell me another phone at a good price without resigning a contract, so I switched to T-Mobile.)The LCD quit working on the second Samsung (my S105 through t-mobile). I dropped the 3rd one into my swimming pool on accident (e315), so it was too soon to know if it was going to be a good phone!**************The Samsung S105 was a pretty good phone overall.I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile when I purchased this phone, and the call quality was much improved - so I don't know if it was the phone or the service provider. The battery was great, the interface was easy to use.The phone felt solid, but was still dainty.Sometimes when I would try to access the phonebook it would stall out, but not very often. After about a year of solid performance, the LCD displays on both the inside and outside went blank. (To be fair, I should add that I live in FL and often had the phone clipped to my waist when working outside - so it could have been the heat.) If this phone has lasted 2 yrs I would have given it a 4 star rating.Maybe a year is more realistic?(Astonishingly enough, the LCD on the e315 phone still works after a dip in the pool, but it won't stop vibrating when I put the battery in and the keys won't work.)My advice - think about buying the insurance or paying less for a phone! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Try tracfone instead !!!
Tracfone gives better deals in minutes. It is perfect for those with light, in town usage. It only uses one unit per minute, two if you're outside of your area code(roaming), and long distance doesn't cost any extra. The airtime doesn't cost a fortune, and you have no credit checks, or monthly bills. Reception is good because they utilize many different providers instead of just one. They also have a referral program, so you can earn 100 extra minutes for free if your friends and family buy one too(they also get 180 minutes). If you want a referral to get started with 100 free minutes, just e-mail me at amitgames@yahoo.com , I'd be happy to send you the link!

2-0 out of 5 stars good but could be better!

4-0 out of 5 stars Its nice

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst phone EVER!! 0 stars
The battery on this phone works normal for 3 months. After that you have to continually replace this phone. In my 1 year contract I replaced this phone 3 times. The last time I just gave up and borrowed a friends phone.Don't get this phone!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Battery Replacement Motorola C332 Phone
You can replace the battery in the Motorola C332 phone.
2-0 out of 5 stars Cute phone, low quality
The Motorola C332 was my first phone and lasted about 18 months. I was 17 when I got it, and LOVED the look -- it's adorable and small! Unfortunately, the phone is completely low quality! The ringers were WAY too soft to hear -- I missed so many calls because I couldn't hear it...even when in the same room! Dropped calls became second nature...I would normally be dropped after about 14 minutes of talk time, which was annoying. During conversations, there was also much background noise, which I do not hear with my dad's much more reliable Motorola V60!

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth it!
i had samsung v205 for almost 3 years now and all i can say is it's one of the best phones i have ever had. although there are some darwbacks such as low batt life and sometimes it turns off by itself. Nevertheless, it is the best!i will never regret buying one and im delightful coz it's still working after all the heat, and drop!Viva la V205!

4-0 out of 5 stars The Durable Camera Phone
I just read two other reviews and realized that my Samsung v205 lasted almost exactly two years also.I must agree that this phone is most definetely durable (at least until the two year mark).I need to be honest in saying that the camera aspect of the phone really never impressed me.Comparing the quality to other camera phones, my phone was generally the worst. In addition, the lens always collected dust and debris that was VERY hard to clean out. Some "close-to-two-years" issues I found were the #7 key losing its sensitivity, the side hinge barrel breaking off (which happened while I was simply talking on the phone), and eventually, the internal wiring of the camera ripping in half to where it became nonfunctional. But for lasting two years (and a couple months), I give this phone my esteem.

I Had this phone for 3 years t is the best phone ever had

2-0 out of 5 stars Great PDA but not made to last....
I've been through three of them.I'm not particularly hard on my phones and I use very little phone time but this phone always breaks in the same place (which is on the corner of the flip top) and beware, that is not covered under any warranty.I've paid $70 twice for two rebuilt ones and full price for my original. It works well but the design is very poor.Never again do I get a flip top phone or PDA.

1-0 out of 5 stars Hinge Jerry-Rigging Suggestion
Don't buy this product. It is absolutely the most frustrating piece of equipment I have ever owned.Like 99% of people who buy this phone my hinges broke.Once SuperGlue stopped working I attemped several different methods of fixing the hinges myself. Currently my 270 is no longer hinged on the top.It now opens out to the right side thanks to a beautifully inexpensive hinge made out of Scotch packing tape.Needless to say it is not functioning as a phone. If you're using yours as a PDA only like I am, then you can try this. I would like to have fixed it the proper way but after reading the experiences that others have had with PalmOne and TMobile, it's not worth it. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Makes calls, but does little else
I bought this phone because I was desperate...my beautiful LG broke, I was not able to get a new one from my cell plan, and I needed a phone. I found this unlocked phone online cheap, so I decided to give it a try.
4-0 out of 5 stars Decent phone, with one stellar feature
Ever notice how everyone screams into their cell phones? This is because, unlike landlines, you don't hear yourself speaking in the earpiece. This phone has the unusual feature of letting you hear yourself talk. My wife reports that I sound as good on this phone as a land line. Otherwise, the phone is unexceptional. Mine belongs to my company, and has been used by others in the past. It's definitely showing some body flex, and the battery needs to be recharged daily. It'd get three stars if it wasn't for the suond quality and surprising feature.

4-0 out of 5 stars I had this phone for 2 years and loved it!
This phone is a little clunky, but wonderful! The symbian operating system makes this phone infinitely expandable. Some of the programs you can download and install include: eBook readers (to download and read books from the New York Public Library, for instance), remote control software (to control your TV through infrared or your computer through bluetooth), game emulators (I had hours of fun playing games with a game boy emulator).

4-0 out of 5 stars Good basic reliable phone
I've had this phone for 2.5 years now, and it's been great. Always reliable but very basic when it comes to features (except for the AOL IM). The only bad thing about it is that the faceplates can be hard to remove. Other than that, it's a good basic reliable phone for people who just want something simple.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST
I remember when this phne first came out with VoiceStream Wireless. Jamie Lee Curtis, family plans, the girl at the party wth the phone on her hip and her dad constantly watching her thru mobile-to-mobile calling. Everyone I knew had this phone. With AOL IM. I also had the 3360 from AT&T... both, since they are very similar are, in my opinion, the best phones EVER. Despite their absence of color, cameras, etc... They had excellent talk quality, excellent battery life, and could be kicked around and beat up, and still work... My 3390 and 3360 had a standby time of 5-7 days, I dropped my 3360 several times, left it in the rain, and my 3390, I left it in my pants pocket in the washer and it still worked 100%. I liked the 3595 with T-mobile b/c it was kind of like an update to the 3360/3390, but I didn't like t-mobiles service. In my opinion, If I could, I'd definitely go back and use this phone. And sometimes, I stilll do. I now have a motorola RAZR V3, but I had my 3390 unlocked so I could use it on cingular....

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Reliable
This si a very reliable phone and it has never failed me. The ony problem is that it is a bit old now and out of date. The only problem i did realize is that the buttons are a bit small, but that may be just because i have big fingers. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars It's My Phone!!
This isa great phone. The backlight is great, a really nice no nonsense phone. I love it. However-the riingtones are not the best, and neither are the games. Overall, this is a nice phone.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Phone for No-Nonsense Users
There are obviously fancier phones in existence than the r225, but for the person who is interested in using their phone to actually make and receive calls, and not as a video game player, camera or music player, this is a good choice. The phone features a great blue backlight (which can be turned off), an easy-to-use menu system that allows you to customize pretty much everything and good reception. To address some of the criticisms by other users:
1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible phone....but keeps on going.....unfortunately!
I've had this phone for a couple of years now...and the only reason I have it still is because the new one I bought was busted. This is a horrible phone. The reception is horrible - always static on the line, my voice echoes in it when i'm talking on the phone. The battery life is horrid - I have to recharge it every night it seems! The only positive thing I have to say about this phone is that it seems to be pretty durable. I've dropped it countless times and it's still around...surprisingly! Overall, I would not recommend this phone to anyone! ... Read more
