Why settle for less, or commit yourself to a specific cellular provider and service plan, when you can get a complimentary unlocked top of the line Motorola RAZR v3i cell phone that works with any cellular service provider and any SIM card. I got mine free at this web site:ilikethis.info/razrv3i

2-0 out of 5 stars Not that good of a phone
I have had this phone for several months and I cant stand it. I didnt actually buy it in the first place. It was a replacement provided by Sprint for a LG VI-125 that went haywire. The A760 is bulky. It takes for ever to get it out of my pocket.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great phone!
Purchased this phone about ten days ago based on the reviewes shared here and really like the features. This is my second Samsung phone and I was very happy with the last one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Phone on Sprint service
This is a solid well built phone. At first I thought the battery life was poor but that was because I was used to my old Qcom boat with a huge battery. Now that I'm used to it, the battery life is fine and the small size more than makes up for it.After seeing a few other phones that my friend have and the problems with them, this phone in comparison is very good.I also like the easy access to phone number in the phone book and the "last calls" access.I've had this phone now for 1.5 years and love it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good phone

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad battery life
My wife has had this phone for about two years. Loved it at first but soon after she began charging it more and more frequently. Right now she is charging it 2-3 times per day and she doesn't use it often. Her favorite aspect of the phone is its size.

1-0 out of 5 stars It's Not the Service, It's the Phone
I owned this phone for a whopping 10 days before I got fed up and traded it in for the i860. It's a cute phone -- I loved the bronze color and the lightweight feel -- but for God's sake, if I wanted to take a week to get a text message through, I'd write a letter.
1-0 out of 5 stars Don't go buy it!
I paid $150 extra plus tax to get a cool looking phone and it was not worth it.I went to the Nextel Support Center near my work to check if there was anything they could do -- nope -- the guy showed me a wall with the discontinued phones and this was the first one displayed. He said that was probably the worst cell phone ever released and everyone is having problems. I bought the service plan and he advised me to call and explain the problems I am having in an attempt to get a new cell phone. Common problems include: call gets dropped, from full bar to no service, and no service in key locations such as my work, my drive to work, and home. BTW, I have other people at work that have nextel service and it works fine so it is definetely my cell phone and not the nextel service.

4-0 out of 5 stars great phone
I bought this phone last october and i absolutely LOVED it! There could have been a little bit more memory, but I doubt that otehr people would have as many ringtones as i did. The first half of this review is for the phone, the second is for sprint service. My advice to you is that if you are already stuck with sprint, get this phone. It's cute and highly functional, works great, and has really cool extra features. My advice to customers who are considering sprint is to try another service because sprint is the absolute worst. I had verizon for a while and I liked their coverage area but damn they are expensive! Sprint's coverage area is virtually non-existant. At least in my area, I don't know about anywhere else, but definately in mine. It is pretty bad when you have to sit on a windowsil with your head leaned slightly to the right just so, just so you can get service. I havent even come to the best part. This was the best phone I have ever had. Well, I had an accident with it (dropped it in some drink concoction on new years). Not to worry, I had the insurance. Right? WRONG. Everyone was really nice to me at Sprint, but they didn't have my phone "in-stock" at the time and sent me a supposed "upgrade". I was so disappointed in the phone they sent me. They replaced my $300 phone with a $150 one. I hate the phone they sent me and I hate Sprint. Go somewhere else while you still can!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Almost there =]
This is an excellent cell phone.I have come to this phone from a sanyo pm 8200 and boy oh boy what an improvement! No more dropped calls, no more bad reception, and no more bad earpiece quality! The phone looks as great as it sounds.I love the two tone color that changes in the light from a very faint lavender to a silver. The keypad is also very nice, although it takes a bit of time to get used to (but what doesn't?) The phone also features noise cancellation which works very well by filtering out static and backround noise in the earpiece. The phone also has a great alarm system where you can schedule it once and never worry about it again. The speakerphone is full duplex so it can play multiple people's voices. The video camera and camera quality are very good and they are MEGAPIXEL also the flash and video light are nice. The only cons are that the screensaver cannot extend across the whole screen if they are from third party, the speakerphone has no dedicated key, the sub lcd and main lcd must have the same backround, and the flash changes into one color for alerts (minor). However the screensaver can be set to a clip which I find is very cool. Oh, and the battery life is phenomenal and the phone is quick as in deleting files takes no longer than a second. I'm turning 14 but please dont write off this review, I know my technology ;] Feel free to check my wishlist :D

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
I have had this phone for quite a while and and I couldn't be happier. The battery lasts forever, even on one bar, It has a different color without being to obnoxious, The camera and video take amazing pictures for a phone and it has a bunch of neat, little nifty extras included. The only thing I would add to this phone would be a calendar. There isn't one, well, isn't one you can go to. You can set one as your foreground, but thats about it. But I love it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Basic Phone
I was looking for an electronic manual and came across this page. After glancing over the reviews I had to response. This phone is basic and was sold as a basic phone. It is even FREE too so that indicates BASIC.
1-0 out of 5 stars i changed my Mind, horrible service, bad phone
this phone is actually pretty bad. within the first 3 months of getting this phone, i have had to get it replaced. now my second phone gets no reception anywhere. sprint's service is very bad. im switching to verizon immediately.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent basic phone.Good reception, easy to use. Loud and clear sound
If you are looking for a phone that does not have a camera, and is easy to use and gets good reception, this is it.Sanyo makes the best phones in the Sprint line as far as reception is concerned. Much better than Samsungs. The sound is very loud and clear. I also dropped this phone in my cats water bowl, but after drying it on my dashboard in the sun for a day, it still works fine 3 months later.

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible Sound Quality
This is a poor Sprint phone, full of crackle and echo. When I went in to complain, they did not seem surprised (I was beyond the 30-day return period).
4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good overall
I just got this phone about 2 weeks ago. It's pretty easy to use. Voice quality is acceptable. Battery life is terrific. But my favorite feature is the blue lighting on the hinges/sides of the phone. I like this feature because it draws attention to the phone when in use and is just straight-out cool. It's lights are not as good as the previous T-Mobile phone that I had (The Siemens CF62T, which also has lighting effects, except they are around the rim of the keyboard) but it works. Overall, this phone is pretty good. Can take a beating, easy to learn functions/features, fair quality camera, and frigging sweet dynamic lights.

2-0 out of 5 stars Poor sound quality and speaker
*To be fair, I liked about the phone the camera resolution and the zoom, but it is very slow even on the least resolution.

2-0 out of 5 stars Avoid this phone. So many problems.
I've had this phone for less than 8 months, and it's been getting worse and worse ever since I got it.Early on I had problems with the battery crapping out after a couple hours, following a full overnight charge. Then the random power-offs started. It would power off in the middle of using it.Then the perplexing problem started, where nearly everytime I closed the phone it would reset itself. Now that problem is accompanied by the phone constantly turning itself off while in my pocket, or just sitting on the table.I've never dropped it, abused it, and I've never gotten it wet.I'm waiting right now to see if Sprint will let me change to another phone.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not the greatest one out there!
FYI:I've been on Sprint for a little over 2 years and owned a previous Samsung phone. This one, I have owned for 2 months already.I can't expect much from this phone since it was a FREE phone when I purchased a new plan.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the basics
This phone has great reception and sounds as clear as a bell no matter where I am calling. It has a speaker option that provides a good alternative to having to hold the phone up to my ear. I can prop it up at my desk or in the car and talk hands free. I also bought one of these for my teenage son and it's an acceptable basic phone. Granted it's not one of the ultra thin phones that is currently in, or a camera phone, but it doesn't get him laughed at either. Our goal was to provide him with a reliable way to contact us, not an expensive gadget that would be overly distracting at school. It's solid feeling, and dependable. I highly recommend it to anyone who just wants a excellent little phone that allows you to stay in clear communication. It comes in three colors, too (silver, blue and pink).

5-0 out of 5 stars It's a great phone.
This phone doesn't have many special features such as a camera or web access, but if all you're looking for is a phone to make phone calls (or text messages) with, then this is the phone for you. It gets great reception-compared to my last phone which cost three times more than this one. I just wanted a phone that got great service and this is the one, so I traded in my camera phone for this one.

3-0 out of 5 stars its a good but crappy phone

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Sanyo Phone to Date
This phone is truely amazing, however had the stars been in any way related to Sprint, I would have to give them two stars. I have owned this phone for 2 years and have dropped about five calls out of thousands. I have service well beyond when the avaerage Samsung(never buy Samsung phones!!!)has run dead while searching for a signal while right next to a cell phone tower! The only drawback is the size, and to me it is actually benificial because I have had the phone for two years and have never lost it or had any problems whatsoever. As for Sprint...Thery are great as long as your contact with customer service is limited...very limited! I had a rep hang up on me today after being lied to yestarday from another rep. There customer service department has caused me soo many problems throughout the years, but their phone service is great.

5-0 out of 5 stars i guess the apple never falls far from the tree.........
this phone is wonderful. i've dropped it countless times and it has one scratch on it.to the gentleman that gave this a one star because his father couldnt figure out how to use it, all i have to say is that its quite evident that technological prowess does not run in your family.i would think that making a post here on amazon would be straightforward but it seems that you were not able to figure out how to use this either.

3-0 out of 5 stars Some slick design????
My main problem with this phone is the design. The rubber is coming off, and sprint tells me that will not replace the phone. What is the purpose of having an extended warranty.Sprint will not replace may $370.00 phone unless there is a problem, like ear plug does not work, guess what it does it.Sprint has not replace my phone as of yet. They are willing to give me a different phone that was someone else's phone.I don't think so. This phone cost to much for sprint to give me some crappy phone that belonged to somebody else.

5-0 out of 5 stars No problems here...
The thing works great!I've had no dropped calls and that's from my home which has bad reception for all phones.Very sturdy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Even Think About It!
The only thing worse than this phone has been Sprint's response to addressing the phone. This phone began dropping calls about 90% of the time a week after I bought it.I took it to the Sprint store which my warranty directed me to and Sprint stated it was Sanyo's problem and I should contact them. After several emails, phone calls (using a land line since my $350 phone wouldn't function), & me reading word for word the warranty that came with the phone I purchased 3 weeks prior, Sprint stated if I took it back to the store, they would exchange it.After researching on the web, the dropped calls are a common complaint which Sprint has chosen to ignore, instead passing the defective phones on to their customers.I've been a satisfied Sprint customer for 8 years but this phone and Sprint's response leaves me feeling like Sprint has been deceptive.I will not remain a customer. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Earpiece lacks sound quality
I love the phone and it has all the features I want, signal reception is above average and talk time on the battery is great. But I just can't get over the poor sound quality of the earpiece.I have turn the volume down to hear the person talking clearly and if there is background noise on the caller's end, forget about it.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good Phone
dident have the phone long, ploblum with provider.

5-0 out of 5 stars STILL the best darn display on the market!
I bot my vm4050 ($330!!) way back in FEB 2004. About a month or two ago, I decided to donate my phone to the fish in Lake Lanier. What a generous guy I am, eh? Meanwhile, since Sprint no longer has any VM4050s available, I had to settle for a (YUCK!) Sanyo MM-8300. A TOTAL piece of crap. SMALL, CRUMMY screen, teeny-tiny USELESS outside display, and NO headset flash button functionality. All the wonderful things that I had taken for granted on my VM4050 phone were now down at the bottom of the lake. :(
2-0 out of 5 stars JADED & JILTED
After three years of having this phone I've finally given up. I recently just replaced my VM4050 for the THIRD time and I had to demand a different type of phone. This last one didn't even make it twenty four hours. This phone will eventually go to pieces on you, do not be confused. No amount of software upgrade will help. My first two began to blank out on me, turn off and on by itself, the menu screens would freeze out and I started receiving text messages two hours after they had been sent. The real music tones are horrible in quality past level two and the phone is generally frustrating. BUYER BEWARE!!

5-0 out of 5 stars GReat phone just as good as newer sprint phones

3-0 out of 5 stars looking to get a different phone
I finally had to give up on my original Audiovox phone that I purchased when I first went with Sprint 5 years ago.I loved that phone but my two small kids and life had knocked it around once to often and I had to find a replacement.I wasn't looking for a phone with a MP3 player (I like my Creative Zen just fine) or multimedia functions - just a good, dependable phone.I read the great reviews here and the salesperson also recommended this phone so I figured, why not?I'll tell you why not:
1-0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY THIS PHONE...OR SPRINT SERVICE
By the way, I'm actually not under 13, just not interested in making a stupid account right now.
4-0 out of 5 stars A very decent phone
When my old Sanyo phone died I was looking for a basic phone that got good reception, sounded clear, and could send text messages if I needed to.After looking at several differant phones I settled on the C290 and I'm glad I did. What I got was a very solid, very sturdy phone that could withstand a fair ammount of punishment and still work. The sound quality is very good on both the hands-on and speakerphone.Everyone who I've asked says they can hear me well without static or excessive background noise. The full-color display is very crisp and easy to read.Once I turned off the cartoonish display that comes default I'm very happy with the way the phone is layed out.The battery life is very good, I can make all the phone calls I need to in a day and still have at least one bar left. Also, I can make calls in areas with this phone that my Sanyo could never have gotten out on; great reception.

1-0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable!!
I was amazed when I read the reviews on this page - because the same exact thing happened to me and my phone.
1-0 out of 5 stars So bad it doesn't even deserve a 1 star review
This phone was awful. I have sprint and while I had no problems with my Sprint service while using this phone, it did break in half (literally)when it hit it's sixth month mark. I noticed a hairline crack on the hinge but it wasn't anything significant and the phone still worked, so I didn't bother with it. Over time pieces of the hinges started to come off until one day when I went to go pick it up, the top part disconnected and was left to dangle by a piece of metal inside the phone. The only way I could use the phone was to use a headset with it. But just yesterday the small piece that was holding it together finally broke, leaving the phone in two seperate pieces,so now I am in search of a new one. Keep in mind folks, the phone wasn't that great to begin with. I had to have the earpiece turned up to last bar to hear anyone and friends said that they could hear me but not that well. I am currently using my old phone and right away noticed the difference when making a call. The phone is an older model but everyone can hear me very clearly and I don't have to turn up the volume to hear them. I never had a problem with NOKIA phones but after this last one I think my money is going to go to SANYO

1-0 out of 5 stars Big Disappointment
The phone is really cute, and I had always used Nokia phones with AT&T/Cingular service, so I thought that I would keep using Nokia, although I switched to Sprint. This has not worked out well.
