5-0 out of 5 stars ITS THE BOMB
i got this phone feb 28 2005 so far i no problems with the phone. camera is great .a litte big but not too big .the the keypad the bomb and the is screen is large. its has mp3 if u get the software for it
4-0 out of 5 stars I had this phone for 2 years and loved it!
This phone is a little clunky, but wonderful! The symbian operating system makes this phone infinitely expandable. Some of the programs you can download and install include: eBook readers (to download and read books from the New York Public Library, for instance), remote control software (to control your TV through infrared or your computer through bluetooth), game emulators (I had hours of fun playing games with a game boy emulator).
5-0 out of 5 stars Bluetooth works great
I have had this phone for almost a year now.It is one very dependable phone.Just got the chance to use it's Bluetooth capabilites.Paired it up with an IBM laptop with Bluetooth to use as a modem when WiFi is not available. The Bluetooth works great!I use it with T-Mobile and took it with me to Europe on vacation.Worked great! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars maybe 3.75
ive had this phone for 2 years. yes, that is way too long. it's a good phone. it has great memory but many phones have upgraded. back then, when the phone first came out, i think it may have been one of the first with bluetooth capacity. the pros: while using an Apple laptop and transferring photos by bluetooth from my phone to the laptop, the picture quality was pretty good. Good talk time, standby time. No zoom for the camera but you can zoom in after you take the picutre. a lot of functions... CONS: size, it's bulky and big. it was too big for many of my smaller purses. there is something up with the application. my first phone went out because of some application error problem a little over a year. when this phone breaks, it simply does NOT turn on. you can charge it all you want, but all you will get is the Nokia intro pics and what not and then boom, it's off and WON'T turn back on. So actually, I've had my phone for 2 years, but actually it was my mom's phone for 2 years. my same phone, BROKE. I think it may have something to do with ALL the pictures I took. another PRO, you can store a LOT of pictures. hope this helps.

4-0 out of 5 stars great phone
ive had this phone for almost a year..it is a superb phone.it has the greatest reception for any phone ive ever had.my other cell phones would never have any bars inside my house, but with this phone i have at least 3 all the time.the charging only takes about an hour or 2 at the most.the pictures kind of suck, and the videos you take are real blurry, but other than that its great.but im getting rid of it because im the type of person that needs a different phone every year, i cant have the same phone for longer than a year, i just dont know, i want another one, planning to get the razr black...

4-0 out of 5 stars Great phone, small buttons
I bought this phone a year ago and have had no problems whatsoever. I did replace the stock faceplate with an aftermarket faceplate and leaned against something and cracked that faceplate. The realplayer is useless without a stereo headphone jack. The screen is large, but the buttons are very small for fat digits. Bluetooth is great and Nokia quality is unsrpassed. Four stars for small buttons and no stereo headphone jack. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Yes, big things do come in small packages.
I got this phone with my plan back in April 2004 when Cingular bought AT&T, but AT&T was still using its services. I later switched to T-mobile the following year with the Motorola V180 because the plans are better.
5-0 out of 5 stars Very nice little phone
Pros: Super-small form factor (tiny phone), speakerphone, responsive buttons, im, color screen, great battery life
4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Little Phone Packed With Features Of A Big Boy Cell

1-0 out of 5 stars The phone battery drains very quickly
The phone battery drains very quickly, the problem may be is with the Sprint service and not with the phone, cause I used the same phone with a GSM service and the battery lasted for approx 3-5 days and now the abttery lasts barely for a day(with a talk time of 15-30 mins).
4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad but didn't stand up to tough wear
I have been a long time customer of Nokia and have tried other brands but Nokia is the only brand that really gives consistently good service I can count on. I got a pair of these phones - one for me and one for my son. And had the same strengths and weaknesses with both. As far as the noise it makes when it takes photos - you can change the sound so that it is silent if you prefer. The camera doesn't take expremely clear photos but honestly about half of the camera phones I have seen have the same problem with not devoting enough pixel space - it's a camera phone. I really like the reliability of service though. Battery lasted a really long time and didn't have a problem with missed messages or dropped calls like I'd had with other phones. The big problem was - it did not stand up to the tough beating both me and my son put a cell phone through. ONly lasted about a year before the connective case started to fall apart, the on off switch stopped working, the face got scratched...the mechanics are great but the outer components are way too fragile unless you buy a case or are a very careful gentle person.

4-0 out of 5 stars Okay little phone for the price
I like my little Nokia PM. When I went to buy it I just wanted the cheapest phone that was a little better than my LG I was using. I had my land phone cut off because people only call on my cell phone. I was going to get the plain Nokia but this one was on sale for just 10.00 more. My college age kid has the Sanyo 8200 and I won't lie her camera is fantastic because it zooms and has a flash but for an extra 10.00 I always have a camera handy and most of my pics have come out pretty decent. They always look better once they are on my PC. I haven't used the radio on the phone. I didn't get it for that purpose but I have the headset. Sprint's been decent to me and I got this in the Sprint store so for the price it is a good deal. Cell phones are just so expensive now due to all of the gadgets. This is a good basic phone. Don't expect expensive phone reception or expensive phone camera options when you are paying the bare minimum for a cell phone. I give it an A.It serves my purpose. Has my phone book in it and I don't lose calls like I did on my old LG phone. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Forget all the hype - this is a nice phone
I'm sick of seeing razrs everywhere. I went from this to a razr and back to this again, because this is a great phone.
4-0 out of 5 stars Big Fatty does a decent job
The Nokia 6600 has a colorful screen with easy to use menus. The battery life is okay with a lithium-ion battery. You can change out the face plates if you get sick of the color you currently have and you can store multiple phone numbers per contact name in addition to some other details such as address, company, etc. The downside of this phone is it's big/fat and the loading of some menu options can be slow. However, it is a sturdy phone and if compared to other 'smart phones' it does a decent job. ;-) I am replacing my new razr with this one since my razr was a total lemon.

2-0 out of 5 stars i dont believe it is nokia

3-0 out of 5 stars Satisfactory phone
I've had mine for a little over one year now. It's held up well to abuse from throwing it around, etc., but it's showing seriously irritating signs of use now. Using the keypad is especially frustrating. Many of the buttons register two presses for every one time that I press them. I'm constantly backspacing! I'm currently shopping around for a replacement.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't be discouraged by the PSP or Nintendo DS this gaming phone has it all...even more
I've owned a N-Gage Qd since Christmas of 2004 and I must say I am very impressed as this phone clearly has unlimited potential. With a service known as the N-Gage arena you can compete against other gamers all around the world similar to the XBOX 360's XBOX live! Create a buddy list, get their phone numbers, text them call them make friends.I would highly sugest buying Glimmerati, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Crash Nitro Kart, Ashen, Rayman 3, Sonic N, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Lara Craft's Tomb Raider....all excelent games that are only $7 at your local EB games and GameStop. With the purchase of a memory card you can download music, full length movies (with a big enough memory card) and best of all you can download a NES,emulator on your N-Gage and enjoy unlimited fun all for a price of $100 for a pre-paid cingular phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars N-Gage QD Game Deck
This Nokia phone didnt sell too well but it is still one of the best cell phones out there. I purchased this phone about a week ago and im lovin it. it has all the things you'd expect in a phone and then some. you can play games on it, watch full length films (if you have a big enough memory card) and surf the web. it has a sleek design and will fit in your pocket. this is a great buy for anyone who is looking for a multimedia center in the palm of your hands

2-0 out of 5 stars A Step Backward
With the United States falling to number 5 in technology across the world. It doesn't surprise me to see Nokia forced to take a step backward with the Ngage. It's hard to get games to catch on with Mobile gaming because so many people demand games with multi formatoptions; to take games with them when they upgrade phones. I own the first Ngage which has a built in Radio along with MP3 player and all the other functions the QD has. I use Cingular and I love my phone. Even though I have to load games and memory cards via removing the back cover. I think it's much safer. If anything, I would have made the back cover capable of packing away one or two more memory cards or games on the plate instead of redesign into the QD, which removed the radio by the way. The Ngage is still lacking in earbuds. If you have the money to purchase a bluetooth headset, those rock and look very stylish. Otherwise, the best option you have is the earbuds that come with the phone. Doom doesn't play on the Ngage....that majorly SUCKS. Overall, I would recommend this phone over the new Walkman. The Walkman is just ludicrous in price when the QD is available to you. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Not 13, easier this way, bad phone.
I am not hard to please when it comes to cell phones, as long as it has a camera and it rings and I can talk to people it will do.My old Kyocera model is better than this. (This is after a basketball hit it two or three times.) The phone for some strange reason shorts out on me.It goes off randomly and doesn't come back on and this has happened to me three times this year. The first time it happened it was at the worst moment possible: A snowstorm at 2 AM is not an ideal setting for your phone to short out.The sencond time it happend randomly and the third time it did the same thing.
2-0 out of 5 stars Okay phone, but...
I got this phone back in January. I must admit, I do like the phone, but I've already bought a replacement. The sound quality of the phone is not very clear... ear piece volume is kind of low and I find myself using speakerphone all the time. Has infared, which is really nice when your laptop has infared also (I've made TONS of my own mp3 ringtones, saved all my pictures on my PC). I had my first one replaced in March because the side buttons (the volume and camera) would no longer work. The camera's okay (it's a phone) - video quality is horrid. No Bluetooth, which my girls friends have 'dubbed' a hassle, because there are many times they want to Bluetooth me sound clips and pictures from their Razrs. It doesn't have much memory capacity (only about 3 MB), so you can't save much. That's ultimately why I bought the Motorola MPX 220 to replace it. Many people I know who have bought the phone have taken it back, or delcare the ones they still own have some WILD problems. It also doesn't pick up signal as good as my mom's Motorola V551.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not A Bad Unit
This review is long and rambling because the phone (to me) does so much that to describe it in any rational order would just be too much like work.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good All Around Phone
I have had this phone for over a year now and it has been reliable and pretty user friendly. The speaker phone is pretty decent, the reception is usually above average, of course the text keyboard comes in very handy for those of us who message regularly. The one thing that is a big disappointment is not a feature of the phone directly - it is the PC Sync software from Nokia that can detect the phone but will then act as if the phone is not there for sync via infrared. Grrr. Frustrating. Otherwise a solid phone.

3-0 out of 5 stars A Marginally Acceptable Telephone
I have had this phone for about 11 months now(I plan to cancel my service with T-Mobile this month as I am now opposed to cell phones). Here are some of the Pros and Cons.
2-0 out of 5 stars Great for text, but keeps breaking!
I've had the Nokia 6800 for two years--but this is the third replacement! I bought it for, and still love, the full QWERTY keyboard. I can enter in emails, complex appointments, take notes (I'm a writer), etc. much easier than with a 9-digit keypad--and I don't have to deal with T9 not knowing my proper names. The GUI and menus are decently intuitive, as well.

I got this phone as a gift two years ago, and after living with it for a while, I'll have to say that it's a nightmare. Sure, it functions as a phone, but that's about where it stops. Let's list my complaints, shall we?

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Phone!
The N-gage phone is tremendous, but the real thing I wanted to point out is get Cingular. It is cheap, and very effective. The Gaming part is okay, if you pick the right games that is.

5-0 out of 5 stars awesome phone
this was my very first cell phone, and none of my other ones have lived up to it since.it's a very durable phone.unfortunately during the first few weeks that i had it, i dropped it on the ground a couple of times and the silver paint or whatever it is got chipped and the screen a little scratched :(
5-0 out of 5 stars This phone is just terrific
Not only is the flip-out keyboard ultraconvenient, but Nokia's software is very well designed and intuitive.I recently switched to a Motorola Razr V3 and my, what a downgrade it is.Wish I could use my 6800 with my new plan.Alas.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it
One night, while at the beach, I was sitting very comfortably near the edge of the porch of my hotel, talking to my friends. This phone was on my lap; I didn't want it on the ground because I didn't want it to fall.So yeah, something happened and it slipped off of my lap, onto the ground of the porch, and alas, went off the ledge and fell to the bottom floor of the hotel. It was very dark out, we all watched it fall through the air and hit the ground and saw it go into a few pieces.I was sure it was shattered. But, to my surprise, I went out the next morning and the only things that fell off were the battery cover and the battery. The battery was retrieved, the battery cover not, but i put the battery back in the phone and no joke, my phone was working like I had just taken it out of the box.And oh, I WAS ON THE 7TH FLOOR of the hotel for godsake.Anyway, this phone is incredibly strong.I still use it as an alarm clock (I've since got a piece of [...] LG phone).Nokias in general are great. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars It's virtually bullet-proof!
I've had this phone for a good 2 years, and it's been through everything you can imagine.I've dropped it in water,I've dropped it on the ground,my neighbor's Rottweiler got ahold of it,my ex flung it at me out of her car window at about 25mph.... It's held up to everything!
5-0 out of 5 stars Durable too
I just pulled my 6010 out of the laundry machine, for the second time. After letting it dry off in the sun for a few hours, it sprang back to life, for the second time.Combine that with all the times I've dropped it and shaken it, and it's one heck of a survivor. It still has its original battery and all that.Color me impressed.

5-0 out of 5 stars All you need is the Nokia 6010
I had a Razr and it lasted about 2 weeks. It is not rugged enough for me apparently.Cingular, which I hate, told me the cheapest phone they had was 199.00.I went to ebay and found this gem for 25.00.The reception is great and I an can actually hear it when it rings.Try that with the Razr or Slyvr or anyother overpriced name with a cute name.I will use the bad boy until my contract with Cingular expires and then I am going somewhere else.AT&T Wireless wasn't too bad to me, but Cingular is a bunch of Aholes ... 2-0 out of 5 stars I'm severing ties with this company
This cell phone plan was the best value for my money (the only reason I gave it two stars).I had to buy a new phone this week and while calling customer service to transfer my units and phone number they neglected to transfer over my number and gave me a new one. They sent me a new SIM card that was supposed to have my old number on it but they put a different number on it.After spending a total of three hours on the phone with them I have been told I can no longer get my old phone number back. After a lenghty conversation about them compensating me their generous offer was 100 units (=$10).I used the phone for the small business I run.I now have to reprint business cards and mail them out to clinets. My business is such that it has no fixed location so my clients have no way to get a hold of me now.I have no idea how much business I lost due to the incompetence of Net10's customer service.Multiple e-mails and phone calls have resulted in nothing but scripted our automated replies.

1-0 out of 5 stars Tried net 10, I like Tracfone better.
I've been a tracfone user for almost 3 years now. I've had a nokia 1100 for the last 2 years. Solid phone, tracfone has worked great for me.Net 10 had problems from the getgo, didn't get good customer service, bad signal. My 1100 tracfone was simple to set up and is effortless, It holds charge for about a week+ on the same battery that was in it new. If u decide to go tracfone, you may request a referral from me(before you activate the fone) which will get you 120 bonus minutes from tracfone when you activate. all you have to do is find my email address!

2-0 out of 5 stars Phone works, but activation was difficult and Customer Service is hard to understand.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great P-H-O-N-E
For all those wierd people who actually use a cell phone to talk on, this is a great phone for you.People buy mp3 players to play music.People buy cameras to take quality pictures. How so many people rate phones based on features alone.Everyone complains the cameras are not up to par with current cameras,or complain that the mp3 player phones sound terrible.I need a phone for work and home.I am stationed in Hawaii, and the reception over here is hard to get.The mountains block a lot of the towers and make it hard for phones here to get a decent signal.People are amazed that I can go through a tunnel in a Mountain and still talk clearly without having the call dropped. Most people who complain about phone features and not reception are the ones who don't actually use a phone for its main purpose...TO CALL PEOPLE. ... I just wanted to leave a comment to the user who said you coudln't get faceplates for this phone and if you did you'd have to use a tool to take the phone apart and what not, this is not so, You can get snap on faceplates which require no tools at all.

1-0 out of 5 stars This phone FALLS apart
Hi there,we have had this phone for 8 months and the molding around the front face plate &around the atenna has come undone ( both my phone and my husbands) Which means now we have multiple dropped calls and no signal half the time. Went to T-mobile for this problem and they stated that they would consider this a physical damage and not replace it, but For a $100 ea. phone we could upgrade.Well we didn't expect our phones to come undone in 8 mos. and we don't have an extra couple hundred dollars to just go ahead and upgrade,POOR customer service from T-MOBILE. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Great phone and plan for the money.
This phone works great and sounds great. We got it as a replacement for a mostly emergency cell phone, but it sounded much better than the one it replaced and was cheaper too.We now may get another for the grandparents.
5-0 out of 5 stars great but not great
i love this phone at sometimes but it so dull and boring make it colorful instead of black and white

4-0 out of 5 stars Good No-Frills PhonePlus: No External Antenna
I don't use a cell phone much. This phone is great for light users. The phone is cheap but functional. The Virgin prepaid plan allows light users to pay essentially $20 every three months, less than $7.00 per month.Every now and then you can find a sale on prepaid cards and get them below face value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Saved a bundle on my T-Mobile service
This phone is very robust. If it is simple, it still does the job. The sound is loud, the screen bright and the buttons are easy to use. The rocker feature is a bit annoying; you have to rock the buttons to hit some of the numbers shared by the buttons, but this isn't too bad.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Nokia 3595 is a great value
I live on the Central Coast in California.I use to be a GTE customer and had my first Cell phone in 1987.Back then they where big bulky things.Anyway after GTE sold out and became Verizon I didn't like the Customer service that was being provided. Mainly the Billing Dept...I normally paid more than what was on my Bill so that the left over would get credited for the next bill cycle.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Phone, Best Performance!
I bought this phone several months ago because my old (...)cell phone had no reception in the office where I work. I choose this phone because it has an exceptionally high rating for performance on the CNET cell phone reviews (...). This one has at least half the bars all the time and it has never lost signal where ever I have taken, including places where most other phones don't work, even in a basement! It is also a very loud phone with a brightly lit color screen. Although the screen resolution is a little lower than the more expensive models, it is easy to read.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this phone
I purchased this phone about 6 weeks ago.Worked for 3 days and died. Took it back, got it replaced.Worked for about a week and died.Took it back got it replaced. The day I got the 3rd phone I took it home and tried to download music from my computer.Music downloaded but would not play.Phone said it could not play that format.I converted music to mp3 format downloaded and it still would not play.I have tried every format that their is and the music downloads but will still not play.I called Nokia and they said to call Cellular South where I have my cell service because some providers block you from playing the formats.I did this and the lady I talked with on the phone said the phone was defective and I need to take it back to Cellular South and have it replaced.I told the lady that this was the 3rd phone I was having to take back and she said that she had the same model phone and she had to take hers back 9times before she got one that worked right.
2-0 out of 5 stars Poor Reception
I owned a Nokia 3589 for 2+ years and I loved it - great reception and hardly any dropped calls. So I figured a flip Nokia tri-mode phone would be great.Liked that it has Bluetooth capability, but after using this phone for a week, had so many dropped calls and reception issues that I'm taking it back to Circuit City.
4-0 out of 5 stars solid phone
I really like this phone a lot. I got it for $139 dollars with a 2 year contract at Surewest which includes unlimited minutes and text, so thats awesome. As for the phone, its great, lots of extras. The only thing is it gets a little hot after a little while but i think all phones do that. so I guess this is more like 4.5 stars. The people that come on here and say it wouldnt power up or whatever, i think thats just bad luck or they didnt treat their phone very well. Very cool phone...although i am wondering about the flip up part being a bit heavier than the base. Oh well. Its all good. ... Read more
