3-0 out of 5 stars Some slick design????
My main problem with this phone is the design. The rubber is coming off, and sprint tells me that will not replace the phone. What is the purpose of having an extended warranty.Sprint will not replace may $370.00 phone unless there is a problem, like ear plug does not work, guess what it does it.Sprint has not replace my phone as of yet. They are willing to give me a different phone that was someone else's phone.I don't think so. This phone cost to much for sprint to give me some crappy phone that belonged to somebody else.

5-0 out of 5 stars No problems here...
The thing works great!I've had no dropped calls and that's from my home which has bad reception for all phones.Very sturdy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Even Think About It!
The only thing worse than this phone has been Sprint's response to addressing the phone. This phone began dropping calls about 90% of the time a week after I bought it.I took it to the Sprint store which my warranty directed me to and Sprint stated it was Sanyo's problem and I should contact them. After several emails, phone calls (using a land line since my $350 phone wouldn't function), & me reading word for word the warranty that came with the phone I purchased 3 weeks prior, Sprint stated if I took it back to the store, they would exchange it.After researching on the web, the dropped calls are a common complaint which Sprint has chosen to ignore, instead passing the defective phones on to their customers.I've been a satisfied Sprint customer for 8 years but this phone and Sprint's response leaves me feeling like Sprint has been deceptive.I will not remain a customer. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars the phone works fine for me
I just saw the bad reviews and I have not had the problems that others have had.I have had the phone for over a year and it still works great. No issues at all.

4-0 out of 5 stars 1 year and going
I've had this phone for almost a year and a half now.To me, the most important thing is being able to make or receive a call and understand the person on the other end. That said, this phone has been great, I very rarely lose a call (reception is great), the sound is ok if not great.
1-0 out of 5 stars Pure Garbage
The V710 mobile phone is complete garbage in just about every respect.STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

3-0 out of 5 stars GOOD phone..THIS REVIEW WILL HELP...
I got this phone for my birthday...first time I saw it I loved it...it looked really awesome... I had the phone for about 5 monthes when one time the screen turned white...like I noticed another person who reviewed this phone said the same thing.I took out the battery and then put the battery back in and it was all ok again. It happens every so often...ive had the phone for nearly 11 months now, and its only gone white about 3 times... them i noticed that there is a squshy thing around the keys and that if you push that down to hard it causes the screen to go white, because everytime it turned white i was fiddling with the squshy thing...so if you get this phone i wouldnt mess with the squshy thing. But it is also easy to scratch since the front screen is somewhat like a mirrior.and scratches easily show up on the silver part..i was really careful about dropping the phone because its soo pretty looking.the camera is good, except the pictures comes out to dark. also sometimes id turn it off and turn it on and it would say it needed a sim card, even though it was in already in the phone...soo i would have to take the battery out and push the sim card in it. I REALLY LOVED THIS PHONE THOUGH. it doesnt have aim or anything but ive never seen anyone with this phone EVER.. its a really unique cool phone. I enjoyed it a lot.... yeah..but the color on the screen for the phone is really clear.
1-0 out of 5 stars worst phone ever
I got this phone 3 months ago as a replacement for the previous worst phone ever (the sharp tm 150). I kept the phone in perfect condition not a scratch on any of the screens maybe one or two small scratches just from regular wear. About two weeks ago the zero button stopped working which is quite a pain in the ass when you are trying to dial a number with a zero in it. Then a couple days ago my phone started to drop all outgoing calls after 2 rings and when trying to pick up an incoming call it says connecting for a couple seconds and hangs up (I called it myself to make sure). The phone is now useless as a phone and t-mobile wants to send me a replacement but my friend who runs a t-mobile store and 2 mall booths said that he doesnt even offer the phone because it is such a piece of crap. Now when T-mobile store managers say the phone blows does that make you want to get another one. When I told them I didn't want the same phone they said they can send me a phone with comparable features for $150 dollars but why would I want to spend another dime on their products and services when the last two phones I have gotten from them broke.
5-0 out of 5 stars Flashy without the actual FLASH!
I had been wanting this phone for about 4 months before I got it. The thing that drew me to this phone so much is since I am in college and everyone has a cell phone I wanted a cell phone that no one had. Out of whereve I have ever been I have only seen this phone once before, so I had to have it since it was such a limited demanded item.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad.
I'm a pretty tech-allergic person.I've had this phone for about a year, and have been very happy with the reception I've gotten in and around urban and rural areas.Cons are that the camera lens and external display are not very well sealed, so dirt is sneaking in to fog them up.Unattractive, but not life-threatening.In addition, the external display seems to have gotten confused these days and doesn't consistently display the time and other icons, but rather a blank blue screen. The other day, the audio stopped working, meaning that people can call me, but I can't hear them, even though they can hear me.Despite all that, I am trying to replace it with the same model because I like the basic features and don't need fancy bells and whistles.

4-0 out of 5 stars Surprising from Sony
I bought this phone the minute it came out even though slimmer, more expensive phones were coming out around that time. I probably paid 170$ for the phone at the time. I had previously owned a Sony Ericsson T300/306 and found the phone to be bulky and impractical. All I knew was that I wanted a flip phone with a camera and WAP.
5-0 out of 5 stars A phone that is finally better than the Nokia phones
Before I got this phone, I had a Nokia flip phone. Unfortunately my dog chewed it up, so I went to a Cingular store to get a used flip phone they had availible and that was the Sony Ericsson. Even though the screen was hard to see outside (it was also was the same thing with my nokia phone) and the camera picture quality was a disappointing (worse than the camera on my nokia phone). I really don't care about using the camera feature on my sony ericsson anyways. Everything else had features I wanted and worked pretty good. The reception on the Sony Ericsson was alot better than the reception on the nokia phone I used to have. This phone was very reliable and I never had any phone related problems with it. Times that makes my phone act goofy is just because of the phone service carrier and their glitches (Cingular). ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars looking to get a different phone
I finally had to give up on my original Audiovox phone that I purchased when I first went with Sprint 5 years ago.I loved that phone but my two small kids and life had knocked it around once to often and I had to find a replacement.I wasn't looking for a phone with a MP3 player (I like my Creative Zen just fine) or multimedia functions - just a good, dependable phone.I read the great reviews here and the salesperson also recommended this phone so I figured, why not?I'll tell you why not:
1-0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY THIS PHONE...OR SPRINT SERVICE
By the way, I'm actually not under 13, just not interested in making a stupid account right now.
4-0 out of 5 stars A very decent phone
When my old Sanyo phone died I was looking for a basic phone that got good reception, sounded clear, and could send text messages if I needed to.After looking at several differant phones I settled on the C290 and I'm glad I did. What I got was a very solid, very sturdy phone that could withstand a fair ammount of punishment and still work. The sound quality is very good on both the hands-on and speakerphone.Everyone who I've asked says they can hear me well without static or excessive background noise. The full-color display is very crisp and easy to read.Once I turned off the cartoonish display that comes default I'm very happy with the way the phone is layed out.The battery life is very good, I can make all the phone calls I need to in a day and still have at least one bar left. Also, I can make calls in areas with this phone that my Sanyo could never have gotten out on; great reception.

1-0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable!!
I was amazed when I read the reviews on this page - because the same exact thing happened to me and my phone.
1-0 out of 5 stars So bad it doesn't even deserve a 1 star review
This phone was awful. I have sprint and while I had no problems with my Sprint service while using this phone, it did break in half (literally)when it hit it's sixth month mark. I noticed a hairline crack on the hinge but it wasn't anything significant and the phone still worked, so I didn't bother with it. Over time pieces of the hinges started to come off until one day when I went to go pick it up, the top part disconnected and was left to dangle by a piece of metal inside the phone. The only way I could use the phone was to use a headset with it. But just yesterday the small piece that was holding it together finally broke, leaving the phone in two seperate pieces,so now I am in search of a new one. Keep in mind folks, the phone wasn't that great to begin with. I had to have the earpiece turned up to last bar to hear anyone and friends said that they could hear me but not that well. I am currently using my old phone and right away noticed the difference when making a call. The phone is an older model but everyone can hear me very clearly and I don't have to turn up the volume to hear them. I never had a problem with NOKIA phones but after this last one I think my money is going to go to SANYO

1-0 out of 5 stars Big Disappointment
The phone is really cute, and I had always used Nokia phones with AT&T/Cingular service, so I thought that I would keep using Nokia, although I switched to Sprint. This has not worked out well.
