1-0 out of 5 stars no good
This phone has several problems. I have had to exchange mine twice. One of the biggest problems is, when you have the phone set so that it answers a call the second you open it up, you have to say "hello" 3 times before the caller hears you.The phone gets very hot when you are talking and the battery does not last as long as the manufacturer says it does. And 9 times out of 10 the phone will drop your call if you touch the antenna while you are talking. It is also hard to hear the caller if you hold the phone too close to your face. And lastly, Sanyo has no real tech support person that you can call. The way it works is, you tell them you have a problem and they call you back in 24 to 48 hours with simple solutions like "have you tried turning the phone off and then back on again?".I highly recommend not bothering with this one. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Phone
This is the 3rd and best phone phone I have owned an used extensively.I couldn't be happier with the sound and call quality, the features and the fast mobile internet.Start to finish I can check my email in 12 seconds and it supports my company's webmail.I had the VCAST for a month for free and it was very cool and impressed the many people I showed it to but the $15 a month is a bit much for it.Overall a great, sturdy phone (I have dropped it several times on concrete, no damage)

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this phone!
The LG VX8000 is awesome! I've had this phone for about 6 months now and I've had NO dropped calls. I've never had bad reception, and unlike most people, I love the fact that it's a little bit bigger and "sturdier" than a lot of cell phones out there. I had the LG4400 before this one, although I liked the 4400, the 8000 sounds better. The ringers are louder, and so are your callers! My husband has the 7000,the ONLY thing better on that one(7000) is the "pretty" light show you get when his phone rings. No, you can't turn those lights off. So, in short, I LOVE my LG VX8000.

5-0 out of 5 stars great phone
I love my phone!I never thought I would use a cellphone to show pictures of my grandchildren, but I do, and they look pretty darn good. When e-mailed they come out quite well.Call quality is great, not many dropped calls. The screen is big, buttons are easy to navigate, and calls are very clear.I can go many days without charging my phone, even after taking pics and looking at them over and over.I love the voice dialing and the picture showing when someone is calling me.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not very good, connectivity very poor
You can put many pictures on the phone but there's no way to transfer them off without using Sprint Internet service. Same with Ringtone downloads and software upgrades. Can't use the bluetooth connection on the phone for much of anything useful except wireless headphone. Audio connection over bluetooth was extremely scratchy and noisy, unuseable.

1-0 out of 5 stars Didn't even last 3 weeks
This phone lasted only 3 weeks before it would no longer power on. Even before that I wasn't crazy about the phone. I didn't like the location of the speaker phone button. I was always hitting it by accident and locking the keys shouldn't be required in my mind.

3-0 out of 5 stars A few drawbacks, otherwise a good phone.
I got my A460 for several days. It looks good and feels comfortable in hand. It has all the features listed in the website. Voice call quality generally is good. I can hear the other party clearly and other peoples have no complains about my voice. The speakerphone works nice in quiet environment. In noise environment or if both party speak simutaniously echobuilds up occasionally , but it's OK most of the time.

2-0 out of 5 stars It breaks repeatedly!
I liked the phone when I first got it a year and a half ago.I thought it was cool that the fliptop swivels. However, after about a year, the fliptop started to get loose and wobbly and eventually my screen went black and I couldn't receive and place calls. Thankfully, I am under warranty so the phone was replaced. The second phone I had for 2 months and then had to get replaced because I kept getting no service in places where I had great service with my 1st phone. So, I got a third phone. The third phone is threatening to break. I've had it for a week and the flip top that I don't ever turn for fear it will break like the first one, is already loose and wobbly.
3-0 out of 5 stars not so great.
Ive read comments about bad service being the provider not the phone but i had really awesome service and reception before i got this phone. I rarely had dropped calls and cd get service places where no one else cd. now that i have this phone im lucky if i can make a call in my own apartment without the phone hanging up. Maybe Verizon has gotten worse? maybe its the phone?
5-0 out of 5 stars love's it
I'd like to start off with the first review states this is just another camera phone> i have had so many people tell me this camera talkes great pictures.i think there better than most camera phones out there. they are so clear on my phone. 2nd i've never had one problem with this phone at all. always 5 bars unless in a warehouse where i get 2 or 3 bars. i do agree that i would of been a nice feature to have caller id on the front of the phone. Also there is no problem with sending pic messages easy just read directions if cant figure it out on your own. i did call verizon on why some people cant get my pics. they said only verizon and cingular people can see them because we use the same frequency. one other great feature you can send a voice memo with any picture you send. all in all i love this phone and wouldnt hesitate recomending it to anyone ... Why settle for less, or commit yourself to a specific cellular provider and service plan, when you can get a complimentary unlocked top of the line Motorola RAZR v3i cell phone that works with any cellular service provider and any SIM card. I got mine free at this web site:nocostnow.info/razrv3i

2-0 out of 5 stars Stay Away From x495
The Samsung x495 looks sleek and cool but doesn't really meet my basic expectations. I used to have a Kyocera on Verizon's service and switched because I wanted something a little more affordable.Choosing this phone/Tmobile was a big mistake.I'm paying less but I get a fraction of the quality.
3-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money
This is the second Samsung x495 that I've owned. The messenger service quit working on the first one I had. When going to use the messenger feature, the phone would shut off on it's own & turn back on by itself. Luckily it was just days before the store warranty was to expire so I took it back & exchanged it for another of the same model. Well the store I purchased & returned it to only had three models to choose from, the Nokia 6010 and the newer Nokia which cost more than I could afford. So I exchanged it for a new Samsung x495 and this one is having problems as well. I just got it a couple days ago. The phone shuts off on it's own which is not a good thing because I use the alarm feature to wake me up. The messenger service on both of these phones is poor. When I type a message, the screen freezes. It does have poor reception, even when trying to send a text message. Alot of times the texts will fail to go through and if your using the T-Mobile to go service like I am, you still get charged 10 cents whether or not the text actually goes through or not. It costs 10 cents just to log into messenger and even more if you are able to send messages without the screen freezing up on you. The games, the wallpaper and the ringtones that are already on this phone when you purchase it are really bad. I do have to say that the phone looks really nice but that's the only good thing about it. Now I'm going to have to take this phone back and I'm going to get my money back this time and try to find something better. This phone is a complete waste of money. T-mobile support isn't the greatest either. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love It !!!!!!
This wonderful compact phone was my first. I have droped this thing so many times and it still works as if I just took it out of the box 2 years ago. So my contract is almost up so that means i have to get a new phone, yah it will be hard to part with it i might have to save it and put it one display ( i know it sounds wierd but that is just me i save things like that for memories).

5-0 out of 5 stars Fine Phone
I drive trucks cross-country on rigid time schedules. The Samsung A650 with its tri-mode of operation leaves very few dead zones where I am unable to call out or receive a call. That's important in case I need service (eg. blowout, no-start) or am delayed by weather or an accident.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Phone
I have used this phone for 2 years, every day, and have never had a single problem with its performance. (No instances of dropped calls, poor reception, or lack of service). Never once has it been powered off from the day I purchased it, and nothing has had to be replaced. Excellent, excellent phone. It now rests in its original box, should I ever need to call upon it again. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST PHONE EVER!!!!!!!!!
this phone is great. It was my first phone ever and when it came time to get a new one i just couldnt find a phone as great as this one. So if your looking for a phone that will be able to handle almost anything cause let me tell you mine went through world war 3 and its still working like new and not to mention the camera i noticed on this one was much better than any of the other phones that tryed out and my phone did get a few scrathces but that will happen in time if you dont use a case some of the ringtones on it sometimes arent really loud enough even with the volume on high but there are a few that are just perfect:) i was and still am real pleased with this phone and it is an excellent phone for anyone!!!!!!!!:)

1-0 out of 5 stars Samsung
Samsung A670 is a lame phone. Also, the battery life is not good. It didn't have many features so its just a waste of your money. The Ringtone Volume was too low. I would suggest Samsung improved this phone. I am not sure if i ever want another Samusung again. I have all these samsung accessories and they are in no use they just sitting in the box colleting dust.

4-0 out of 5 stars Indestructible
If you're hard on your electronics (like I am) this phone is for you. It's practically indestructible. I put mine through the washing cycle (as in washing machine, yes) three times, let it dry overnight, and it still works perfectly. I've also run it through the dryer twice, dropped it countless times, thrown it at a wall, and ran over it on a mountain bike. The camera still works, and I think the reception actually got BETTER after going through the washer. All it has is some scratches on the casing and a bent antenna. This is a perfect phone for a on-the-go, klutzy person. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Garble, garble, garble.

I love this phone! It takes pictures, IM's, and allows you to download games. the pictures do not turn out as well as desired, but we were taking them in a dimly lit room. The calls sound fine, no static whatsoever!
5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome phone!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Fatal Charge Problem
My wife and I both got this phone with our Verizon signup. After 7 months, it is now impossible to charge my wife's phone, and mine will hold a charge for about five calls. The phone pretty much quits on its own long before you're eligble for a verizon discounted replacement, so now we're stuck shelling out $300-$500 bucks to get a couple full price replacements.Don't choose this phone.

1-0 out of 5 stars This phone sucks
No need to write a long, drawn out review. In short, I have had this phone for exactly one year so far and it has been babied. It can no longer hold a charge, the ability to store multiple numebrs a a single name doesn't exist, and the useability is fairly lame.

Ok so im not gonna lie. the phone served the purpose. It was good to me untill recently. It says i have full bars yet no one can hear me. 5-0 out of 5 stars I loved this phone.
I'm 16 years old and I got this phone when I was 14, for Christmas. After two years of use, I'm getting a new phone on October 19th, and I'm not sure that any other phone will suit me quite as well as this phone did. I'll address a few pros and cons.
5-0 out of 5 stars overall a very good phone
this may be by first phone, but i am very happy with it.
1-0 out of 5 stars Beware of the battery!!!!!
I have three of these phones through my Verizon plan. All three the batery concked out at about 6 months into service. Now another six months later and 43 bucks a pop for batteries they are dying again!! What does Verizon & LG say but too bad! They say that it is from moisture damage. Common sense says three phones all used by differnt people NOT!! Also this phoen has an annoying habit of turning itself off! I would never buy this phonr or another LG after getting the shaft from them ,,,,, ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars This phone has been discontinued....Not really a big surprise
Many of the reviews you have already read leave you not wondering why this phone has been taken off Verizon shelves. I decided that I needed to replace my battery after the phone kept dying on me when I used it for less than an hour. The Verizon store luckily had one battery left. Then came the wonderful news that my phone had been pulled from the shelves. Hmmm, why did they not alert all of the victims who were stuck with this fickle and unreliable phone. I am away at college, and my phone dies on me when I am walking around 2am back to my dorm. Needless to say, I should never take a discount for a cell phone.
1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the headache
Like other users, I've been pretty dissatisfied with this phone.Battery is eaten up by the picture button being pushed accidentally. I'm on my third one now.I know...What do I keep going back for? They keep dying for no apparent reason.Current one won't charge without forcing charger into port, which is the only reason I stick with this model - so I don't have to replace accessories too.Alternatives from Verizon were horrible - $90 for a phone you can buy on ebay for $20?I just think if a company pushes these phones on you, they should back them up better.

1-0 out of 5 stars Lousy Phone
I have so many beefs with this phone after a year and half of use.The biggest is the overall poor design. For example, the camera button is prominent on the side of the phone, and I constantly bump it, turning on the camera. It won't shut off automatically, so if you don't notice it immediately, you have a dead battery only a short while later. Why would the camera even turn on in the first place with the phone in the closed position???Hello??? Stupid.

5-0 out of 5 stars Tough Little Phone
I've had the phone for 2 years and it's performed really well.Gets a signal when other Verizon phones won't.It's been dropped a dozen times and even fell off my truck hood at 10 miles an hour in a parking lot (don't ask).Display is excellent and camera is as good as any from that year.Only complaint is the speakerphone. Not loud enough and doesn't turn on like it should. As with most Audiovox phones, it does get a tad warm if you're on the phone a while.

5-0 out of 5 stars They Discontinue the perfect phone
I had my cdma 9900 phone for over three years. I got video of my grandchild on this phone they first moments of his life. I was able to transfer to my computer. Countless pictures games and ringtones. I have 5 differnt phones on my verizone account and replaced several several times. This phone outlasted the so called best the signal is awsome I use this phone a lot has the original battery I talk approx 1 1/2 hrs a day they weekends I talk five or six hours yes I plug in the phone so that time is not all battery. They discontiued this phone becuase it is so durable high memory long life battery great pictures video and sound recorder as well with many other toys. They stoped becuase they want you to buy other phones within in a year or two this phone is awsome I have not found another phone yet to compare this one two. This is the tucker of sell phones if you know the story of the tucker car you know what I mean. If you can buy this phone new do it this phone is worth its wieght in gold

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfection?
I've had it for just over a year now, and it is by far the best phone I have ever used.

You've probably seen the wildly popular Motorola RAZR V3 in someone's hand before. Now Verizon has their own version of the RAZR, the RAZR V3c. 3-0 out of 5 stars Unusually susceptible to rain damage
I've had a V3C for several months. It's never fallen in water, but it has been in my pocket in the rain.I went to the Verizon store for service today and found that the water-damage indicator is red, so my warranty is void.Other phones I've had have stood up much better to New England weather.

1-0 out of 5 stars Wanted the phone for its looks - disappointed by performance
So I'm shallow. I went for the beauty and not the brains. The phone is just so cool looking but it's a dog in so many areas that I wish I could dump it. First, as mentioned by everyone, battery life is miserable. I can't get 2 days out of mine and it's pretty new. I even practice good charging (letting it get really low and then hooking up).Hasn't helped much. The sound quality is poor and you have to have the ear piece properly placed by your ear canal so you don't muffle the sound with your ear flap. Way to fussy for me.
1-0 out of 5 stars Stay away from Verizon RAZR
This phone is by far the worst phone I've ever had. Voice quality is very poor and muffles most of the time (even with good signal rate). and fully charged battery lasts only 1 and 1/2 days, which means you've got charge it every night. With Cingular Razr, battery last almost a week. What a difference!!! If you like the the way it looks, my advice to you is go with Cingular, voice quality is some what better and battery life whole lot better. Not only does Verizon uses inferior thechnology, also the worst customer service I've experienced. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars This phone is good, but...
Okay everything about this phone is good. Here are some of the things I like about it.I like the great LCD screens, very bright and clear,; I like the sound options.I usually keep my phone on vibrate because i'm usually at work and let me tell you, the vibrate on this phone is almost as loud as the ring tone. It's like the phone dances when someone calls. The photos taken by this phone are very good and clear. I really like this phone cause it can take a beating.Let me tell you, I have dropped the phone more time than I can count, some soft fall and some hard, and the phone keeps on kicking. The LCD screens remains clear and working properly.

1-0 out of 5 stars I wish I had read the reviews
After my Nextel phone started acting up, I decided to switch services because I liked the Razr style and a lot of people I was calling were already on Verizon. I have had this phone all of 3 days and already miss my Motorola i860. You can import only a couple of Mp3s before the phones memory is full, unless you buy their $50 transflash card (1 gig is the largest). You cannot assign the Mp3s you import as ringtones either, a major disappointment for me - again missing my i860 with its 400+ ringtones. I'm already thinking the $175 early term charge is a bargain compared to what I will spend over the life of my 2-year contract. Another rip-off with Verizon, they charge you an extra $35 to sign only a one-year term! Next time I'll read the fine print, and just upgrade my Nextel

2-0 out of 5 stars good at first, but i wouldnt reccomend it
well im 16 [writing kids review because i dont have my own amazon account] and when i first got my pink razr from verizon wireless i loved it especially because its pink, but now that ive had it for 2 months or so im not so fond of it. first off, it takes about eight seconds to clear to the home screen, and that takes forever, the phone in general is slow. also theres an obnoxious buzzing in the earpiece. Im stuck with this phone for a while, and am not to happy with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Yesyesyesyes.
I'm a teenager and I got this phone for the regular teenager-ish reason: I want to stay in contact with my friends. It does that job very well. It has great picture quality, voice quality, memory and color. When we got it, the man at the desk said that you have to pay $5 for each extra feature- text messaging and picture messaging. We declined, since the phone already costs enough ($180). When we got home, however, those two features were already on the phone! Still don't know what that was...

4-0 out of 5 stars Works great so far...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I've got another year on my contract with Cingular, but so far, after a whole year+ of use, I haven't had any problems with this phone.I love the bright screen and large key pad. Also, the bluetooth is fabulous - I don't have to pay to email my pictures to myself or anyone else because I can just send them straight to my computer via bluetooth!I also love the bluetooth because it allows me to create my ringtones - which once again saves me from having to pay for them.Plus, I get the exact clip I want from any song I want, so it's a win, win situation. The menus are fairly user friendly, and I've had no problem customizing my phone.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
I bought this phone Feb '05 and for just over a year, it worked beautifully. I had owned 3 different Nokia non-flip phones before switching to Motorola.
1-0 out of 5 stars Pain in the A**
We've been with Cingular for over 10 years now and owned many different phones but I have to say that this is the worst one we've ever owned!!Just like the majority of reviewers we have experienced:

3-0 out of 5 stars Great phone - just don't drop it.
Pros:Windows Mobile in a small clam-shell style phone.Nothing else like it, really. It plays Audible.com audiobooks, MP3s (don't need iTunes), syncs up with Outlook, and you can download all kinds of cool software. You can even expand the memory with a 1GB SD card.It does everything an iPod can do and much more.
2-0 out of 5 stars Great Features, Poor Quality...
I've gone through two of these in a little over a year. The phones are known to be of poor quality. In both of mine, the volume was low (I've done the upgrade) and they phone died by not being able to recharge the battery.I have a number of chargers and while they work on other phones (with my battery) none of them will charge the battery on my phone.
5-0 out of 5 stars Most Excellent
