1-0 out of 5 stars IF ANYONE CAN HELP?
I bought two of these phones for my wife and myself. She was the smarter of the two of us and went back to her old Nokia phone after a few weeks.I had to prove I didn't make a mistake so I kept using it, much to my frustration.
1-0 out of 5 stars avoid this phone
Have never beforehad such a poor experience with a single piece of electronic equipment. Returned the first one after 6 months as screen went dead. The replacement phone from T-mobile the screen failed againafter two months, and the 2nd replacement refused to charge after about a month. I threw in the towel and accepted a replacement of a different model phone.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not that bad of a phone
I have used tons of motorola phones over the years from the v120 to the v330.The v330 does have a couple problems with it well at least for me it did. After a couple months I had problems using the chargers.I switched out 4 chargers, and each one would work good for a couple weeks, then you would have to fiddle with them to charge the phone.

4-0 out of 5 stars Get a free unlocked Motorola RAZR v3i instead!
Why settle for less, or commit yourself to a specific cellular provider and service plan, when you can get a complimentary unlocked top of the line Motorola RAZR v3i cell phone that works with any cellular service provider and any SIM card. I got mine free at this web site:ilikethis.info/razrv3i

3-0 out of 5 stars It's perfect if you want just the basics.
This was a pretty nice phone while it lasted. I had to trade up to a Motorola PEBL just because my x475 was getting annoying. Some of the reviews with the muffled speech I had never a problem with. But, you just can't customize it like you should be able to.
2-0 out of 5 stars An Average Buy
I bought this phone on the T-mobile website for free(web-based discount) and only paid for the shipping and handling (February '06). Reading the product summary on the phone on the T-mobile website made it sound like this fantastic over the top phone. But to me, I wasted money and should have went with a camera phone and paid more and gotten better features and enjoyment with some other phone.

1-0 out of 5 stars Kyocera Phone broke with 8 months/Verizon would not honor warranty.
The phone broke within 8 months. It had a one year warranty through Verizon.I took the phone to Verizon and they would not repair it saying it was "regular wear and tear".I cancelled the account and was charged a $175 early termination fee, which I am appealing. If you want a phone that will last over 8 months, don't buy this phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Functional Quality Powers over Design. Worth the purchase...
Ive had this cell phone for over 1.5 years now and I have no complaints as some may have mentioned, such as voice. When I talk with other people, I only need to keep the volume at mid level..even at that, the sound quality is loud on my end.
1-0 out of 5 stars horrible phone

5-0 out of 5 stars awesome phone
this was my very first cell phone, and none of my other ones have lived up to it since.it's a very durable phone.unfortunately during the first few weeks that i had it, i dropped it on the ground a couple of times and the silver paint or whatever it is got chipped and the screen a little scratched :(
5-0 out of 5 stars This phone is just terrific
Not only is the flip-out keyboard ultraconvenient, but Nokia's software is very well designed and intuitive.I recently switched to a Motorola Razr V3 and my, what a downgrade it is.Wish I could use my 6800 with my new plan.Alas.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it
One night, while at the beach, I was sitting very comfortably near the edge of the porch of my hotel, talking to my friends. This phone was on my lap; I didn't want it on the ground because I didn't want it to fall.So yeah, something happened and it slipped off of my lap, onto the ground of the porch, and alas, went off the ledge and fell to the bottom floor of the hotel. It was very dark out, we all watched it fall through the air and hit the ground and saw it go into a few pieces.I was sure it was shattered. But, to my surprise, I went out the next morning and the only things that fell off were the battery cover and the battery. The battery was retrieved, the battery cover not, but i put the battery back in the phone and no joke, my phone was working like I had just taken it out of the box.And oh, I WAS ON THE 7TH FLOOR of the hotel for godsake.Anyway, this phone is incredibly strong.I still use it as an alarm clock (I've since got a piece of [...] LG phone).Nokias in general are great. ... If you're on the move a lot and need the power of hands-free operation and the convenience of push-to-talk communication, the LG VX4700 is right up your alley. 1-0 out of 5 stars I hate this phone
I got this phone in January and it broke IN HALF in May.The ribbon wire that holds the phone together just frayed apart.I wasn't rough with the phone.I didn't drop it on the ground. This phone is just poorly made. From day one it started falling apart.Small pieces and screws fell out and eventually it just split in two.The phone spontaneously goes into "driving mode" which is pointless and announces whoever is calling. The speaker phone button on the side goes on all the time when you don't want it to also. After the phone broke in half, I had it replaced by my insurance. That was in June. Now it is the beginning of August and the speaker button on the side of the phone is permanently lodged into the phone and won't come out.So my phone is constantly on speaker phone and the Verizon Wireless store won't do anything about it.Don't get this phone.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not as good as it's predecessor
I had my old LG for three years until it died. I upgraded to this one and have been wanting my old one back every since. I'll start with cons since they're easy and then add the pros if I can think of any.
4-0 out of 5 stars The best phone I've ever owned!
Finally, finally, finally. A phone that is GOOD at what it's supposed to do. First I'll tell you, I'm not impressed by all the ridiculous gadgets they put on phones so they can sell more of them. Cameras, MP3 players and the like. I have a Sony Digital camera and an Ipod. I wouldn't want to use those to call my mom, just as I don't want to use my phone to take lousy pictures.

2-0 out of 5 stars Horrible audio, pictures, and video. Otherwise just OK.
I've had this phone for a year now, and I'm sorry I ever bought it. The audio is absolutely HORRIBLE! Sometimes it's actually hard to understand the person calling, even with a 5 bar signal.
4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Phone
This Motoraola phone is Great. I had it for 6 months now( 3 three months prepaid and Now 3 months contract). the V330 is very realible and has great reception and super fast internet. Although with Pre-Paid service a lot of the phones features are disabled such as internation-roam, t-zones games, t-zones internet, and t-zones video. Before travilng abroad with this phone have it unlocked( After T-Mo does it for free) and get a sim card from the country you're in cause T-Mo roaming is supa expensive.
2-0 out of 5 stars Try a different phone
I have had so many problems with this phone and the service. Many times, when I'm trying to call someone, the phone would just sit idle, while it says that it's "calling" someone. I would have to shut it off and try again, only for it to happen again and again. Also, sometimes, when I'm dialing someone who is on my speed dial, and that I've called numerous times before, it would dial and reach another person. This gets to be quite ridiculous. Also, sometimes, when I'm calling someone, the phone will ring once and then won't ring again. It's frusterating, and personally, I'm glad that they took this phone off the market, however, I'm not quite convinced that it's just the phone. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Well rounded, durable phone with some nice features
I was a little discouraged about getting this phone after reading some reviews, but I have had it for about 10 months now and can't be happier. I've had 4 different cell phones in my life and this one has been the best one so far. Two have been Samsung and I think they're one of the best cell phone makers. (Nokia is a horrible brand, I don't recommend Nokias.) This is a good quality phone that has outlasted a few falls and a quick fall into a sink with the water running. It takes pretty good pictures as far as I'm concerened. One thing about the camera part of the phone is that after taking a picture it comes out a little further away than it looked before you took it, but that is something you can get used to. I rarely have reception problems. The speaker phone works great. The only thing some people might not like is having to confirm turning the speaker phone on, but it's something you can get used to as well and it isn't a big deal. I really love this phone. It's a simple, durable, well rounded phone with some nice features. My whole family has this exact same phone and none of us has had any problems so far. We've all dropped the phone plenty of times with no problems whatsoever. The phone also has good battery life. I can go 2 or 3 days without recharging it. I highly recommend this phone or any Samsung phones.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nice Looking but Poor Reception
Great looking phone, very small and lightweight.Unfortunately, the antaenna doesn't cut it.I get no reception in places where everybody else has reception, and in places where there is interference, the phone drops calls regularly. For example, I can't talk with the hands-free adapter and have the phone in my pocket.I also can't talk whilst using my laptop, probably because of interference from the laptop's wireless internet connexion. This is an older phone, so I guess this problem is down to phone manufacturers' inexperience with making internal antaenna phones.I understand newer ones (e.g., the Pebl) are better.
4-0 out of 5 stars No frills phone works great as a cell phone
The Samsung E335 is a great little cell phone. It has one of the easiest interfaces to learn and is very easy to use.It is small enough to fit in most pant pockets and stylish enough with today's trends. It is pretty sturdy and seems well made.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nextel is most expensive service with the worst reception/service
Nextel has bad reception in Northeast USA. Not sure about the rest of the country. Also, Nextel has the highest price among all the other service providers. They add $24 additional surcharges and hidden cost on top of you monthly fee. Other carrier have approximately $10 additional charge. Nextel charge you more and you get less. Also, they have poor customer service with no compensation for you dropped calls or no service at all.

1-0 out of 5 stars WARNING
My problems with nextel did not stop when I canceled my service. I will get to the problems with the service. When I went to get a new phone a day before my contract expired, I of course wanted to keep my number. So as I went to get my Cingular phone (highly recommended), I had the old number switched to my new number. Today, I get in the mail my nextel statement for the month with a $200 early termination even though I had not canceled my service, but had simply got a new phone and switched my number over. This was on icing on the cake after 2 years of absolutely amazingy bad service from nextel. In my town, not a small town by any means, there are very few places that have any service. In the largest subdivision, you cannot get service anywhere. I constantly get comments from people trying to reach me that get the classic nextel line...Please hold while the nextel subscriber you are trying to reach is located. Most of the time I would not even recieve incoming calls, calls would go straight to my voice mail. Not only would I not get the calls, but often I would not even get the voice mails until days or even weeks later. When I did actually take calls (and call out), I cannot count the number of times I've had my call dropped. I recieved so many different error messages sometimes I wonder if they just spend all their time at nextel thinking of different error messages to program into their phones. That brings me to the selling point of nextel, the famed and well-loved direct connect feature. This is an absolute joke. Direct connect only works MAYBE half the time I tried to use it. Even then, in the middle of the conversation I would be greeted by the loud beep of my phone telling me I wont be talking to that person anymore. Of course, I would expect nothing less from the nextel network. Text messaging with nextel is next to impossible. If it did not take hours to send or recieve a message, it took days, or maybe didn't even come at all. The internet access was fine, it the rare instance that it worked. Of course, when you don't have service, you don't get the internet access either. I was constantly getting the message "network not available". Calling and trying to complain to nextel is futile. Trying to get through to customer service takes forever and once you get through they do nothing. My experience with nextel has been nothing short of a disaster and I write this trying to warn anyone considering nextel. Stick with Verizon or Cingular and you will be much happier in the end. Don't make the same mistake I did.

5-0 out of 5 stars Owned them all
I have been with nextel for the last 10 years and i have owned every phone they have ever released from the IDEN to the I860 and the phone that I had the least amount of problems with is the I90. Great phone I miss it alot. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!
This phone is so great! I got this phone when I was in the 8th grade and now I'm going to be Junior in High School and it's been such a great phone! It's small and pretty sleek and is very trend setting (especially for us girls). Who would have thought a gold colored phone would be that popular? When I first bought the phone, a gold colored phone was pretty different, but I've received so many compliments about my phone, especially now that I've jazzed it up a bit with Rhinestones. The smooth and simple surface makes it easy to personalize this phone!
5-0 out of 5 stars very nice phone

5-0 out of 5 stars Good phone
I had this phone for 2 years, just couple of days ago I got new one, samsung d-807. I would not reccomend to buy this phone because it is old. When I bought it 2 years ago it was good, but now, for the same price you can get a much nicer phone, with better camera, MP3 Player, better display, more memory. Not that something is wrong with the phone itself, I gave it 5 stars, and for the time I had it I really liked it. It is easy to use, it looks nice, has good screen, camera (unfortunately you can only take 20 pictures at a time), and everything in the menu is setup nicely and understanding. It does not have infrared or bluetooth, so the only way to connect it to your computer is to buy a cable. Also you cannot put any ringtones on it, when you connect it to the computer the only things you can do is save you contact list, or load you contact list from computer to you phone, and save pictures, or load pictures. If you want new ringtones you going to have to access internet on the phone and buy them.
4-0 out of 5 stars I'm a teenager and it's not dead yet :)
This was my 5th or 6th cell phone over a 3 year time span due to me losing, washing in the wash, or just getting sick of any other phone. I had this phone for a year. I know computers therefore I basically knew all the features off the bat. I talk in the shower with this phone, I talk in the rain, I talk in the ocean, and it still isn't broken.
2-0 out of 5 stars Mediocre phone, at best.
I've had this phone for about 2 years and 8 months, and I got it as part of a new-phone-every-3-years deal.I honestly don't think my phone will last two more months.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not 13, easier this way, bad phone.
I am not hard to please when it comes to cell phones, as long as it has a camera and it rings and I can talk to people it will do.My old Kyocera model is better than this. (This is after a basketball hit it two or three times.) The phone for some strange reason shorts out on me.It goes off randomly and doesn't come back on and this has happened to me three times this year. The first time it happened it was at the worst moment possible: A snowstorm at 2 AM is not an ideal setting for your phone to short out.The sencond time it happend randomly and the third time it did the same thing.
2-0 out of 5 stars Okay phone, but...
I got this phone back in January. I must admit, I do like the phone, but I've already bought a replacement. The sound quality of the phone is not very clear... ear piece volume is kind of low and I find myself using speakerphone all the time. Has infared, which is really nice when your laptop has infared also (I've made TONS of my own mp3 ringtones, saved all my pictures on my PC). I had my first one replaced in March because the side buttons (the volume and camera) would no longer work. The camera's okay (it's a phone) - video quality is horrid. No Bluetooth, which my girls friends have 'dubbed' a hassle, because there are many times they want to Bluetooth me sound clips and pictures from their Razrs. It doesn't have much memory capacity (only about 3 MB), so you can't save much. That's ultimately why I bought the Motorola MPX 220 to replace it. Many people I know who have bought the phone have taken it back, or delcare the ones they still own have some WILD problems. It also doesn't pick up signal as good as my mom's Motorola V551.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not A Bad Unit
This review is long and rambling because the phone (to me) does so much that to describe it in any rational order would just be too much like work.

4-0 out of 5 stars If you have a teen this is the best phone!
I have a problem with breaking cell phones.I have broken two of them. One being this phone, but that was my own fault. Both phones that I broke had to do with them being at the bottom of my backpack and my backpack falling off a bench. But, anyways. My first phone was a Motorola T720i.It was a decent phone, it was my first, so I didn't know anything better. Then I purchased the 4500.It was perfect!I am basically any teenage girl, I love to talk on my phone and now, text! The battery life was great.I could go somewhere for the weekend and I would have 2 out of the 4 bars left and it worked like it was on 4.I loved that phone. The speaker was great, and the one thing that I really loved about this phone was the High Ring and Vibrate.I really liked that, because if I didn't hear it, I felt it. Then I broke it.That was my own fault. When you have a backpack that is at least 5 pounds or more and your cell phone is in the bottom of your bag, it's not a pretty picture.

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Phone
Okay, I know the subject for this message is pretty negative, but it is to the point.I have had cell phones for a number of years and this is the only one that has earned that description.
1-0 out of 5 stars BUYER BEWARE
This is the worst phone you can possibly imagine. You should only buy it if you don't plan on using it.I mean, it fits in your pocket pretty well, its comfortable when you hold it up to your face.It looks good but its not too excessive with features you don't need. However it is quite a different story for features you do need.Do you want service?Well this phone has the ability to drop a your call anywhere. It goes from six bars of service to none without you moving an inch.I have never once experienced in my one and a half years of ownership a call that has gone through from beginning to end without being dropped or broken up.I have never had good coverage. The display frequently messes up, going black for long periods of time.It turns off on its own.Oh and the battery?I have had this battery for a year and after one call it the battery life is in half.I cannot go a day without it dying.I do not use the term "hate" lightly or very often but I HATE this phone.I am to buy a new one tomorrow and the best part will be planning an elaborate way to destroy this one.Do not buy this phone.Do not buy from LG.(I would give this zero stars, but its just not an option) ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good for a Verizon phone
I'm just getting acquainted with the new razor and i am not displeased so far.One of the problems with Verizon is, as everyone knows, their complete lack of creativity or form combined with function.(i really want the HAL 9000 phone from Nokia)One thing i noticed (for which i found no entries on the web) is that within the first 3 days of owning the phone, the battery got extremely hot, and lost its charge in 6 hours.Needless to say, it was replaced.Since getting the new one, i have had a few issues:
5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT PHONE!
Don't listen to the bad reviews. This phone is great. I bought my Razr 3 or 4 months ago, and I was reall nervous about it considering all of the bad reviews on this site. So far, I have not had a single problem. THE BATTERY LIFE IS EXCELLENT!!!! I leave my phone on from about 7-8 in the morning till 11-12 at night. With all of that time, I have only had to charge my phone 2 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS!!! I get about 5 or 6 days of use without charging, while the phone is constantly on. THERE IS NO ECHO problem with the phone unless you are really close to the person you are talking to. I love that you can shut the phone and still be on speakerphone. I can keep my phone closed in my pocket while I drive and talk to friends and we can hear each other just fine. This phone is also very durable. I have dropped my phone multiple times on concrete and my phone is scratch and damage free! Believe me, there are always bad reviews for things like this, but I guess you have to decide which side is more credible. But I can tell you from personal experience that I have found that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this phone. If you really want more proof, go to professional websites that review electronic items (google it) and they will give you much more credible proof about this phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hacks
First off I did not buy this product at amazon.com I bought it from the Verizon store. I think this phone is a really, really nice verison of the razr, being that I've had 2 other razrs (v3and v3i). This one feels a lot more sturdy in your hand, and it doesnt feel cheap as the v3 did, while maintaining its sleek, slim look, unlike the v3x which is a lot thicker. Furthermore, the camera on this razr is far superior to the previous versions, excluding the v3x(2 megapixels). It has a 1.3 megapixel camera, but I don't really use it for the camera, its only good for those surprise moments :P. Also I've noticed that the audio quality is a lot better than the other razrs, the songs/ringtones sound a lot more crisp and rich. Also the phonebook feature is fixed, I used to hate to have to wait like 30 seconds just to get to what contact I wanted (v3), Also new to this razr, is the voice command system, you can instantly look up numbers via voice command. You can also check battery levels, and signal strength. And the pause between letters in a text message is reduced, so no more waiting 2 seconds to type "no" :). Battery life is very much improved from the other razr models probably because this is a CDMA phone instead of the normal GSM razrs. A con however is the fact that if it gets scratched you will be able to easily tell it did, but I believe they offer this phone in silver if this is an issue. If you want to get really fancy you could get a custom case designed and handmade for your phone at vajacases.com.

1-0 out of 5 stars Decide carefully
I read all the review before I decided to buy this phone. But unfortunately I ended up with bad experience with it.Here is my story.I got this phone last year with 1 year contract with Verizon, but now my battery is close to not functioning unless I charge it very often. It definitely decrease dramatically from when I first got it.Another annoying thing about this version is it's very weak.My spouse has same provider with same manufacturer but newer version (LG V6000) will have signal while mine is beeping out of range. I also agree with some earlier review about not able to see the screen under the sun.I don't think it was that big of a deal, but it is.You will have to take off your sunglass whenever there is sun.
5-0 out of 5 stars It's a good phone
This phone is extremely durable and easy to use.The buttons are easy to press, easy to remember, and easy to see.I only have two small problems with the phone. 4-0 out of 5 stars Good phone as long as you don't need a headset.
I've had this phone for over a year now and I will be upgrading it soon. The standard features of the phone work very well. The reception and clarity is very good. The LG contacts list is great. Even the battery life is good.

3-0 out of 5 stars I love this phone, but.....
I spent a lot of time shopping around before I finally decided on this phone. It was really important to me to find a phone with a beautiful, large screen. Simply put, this phone has the most beautiful screen that I have ever seen.I have no complaints about the functionality of the phone, or the design, or any of that. It's a darn good phone!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Phone
I have had this phone for about 1 year now. My 1 year contract is over in August. This phone is fantastic! Takes really good pictures! The screen is wide so you can see everything. Video works well, you can upload your photo's & video's To Pix Place where you can see it on the computer.Yes, the only down point about the phone is that it does not have speaker and VCAST. However, I had no problem with this phone whatsoever. I say it is pretty darn good. Wish it had an MP3 though, haha. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice PDA/phone, small package
I'm very happy with this PDA phone.I have ditched my PDA, and use this entirely. The mini-keyboard was a problem, so I bought a keyboard which gives mea full QWERTY keyboard for email.I use some basic web, yellowpages, mapquest, etc.No problem there.I added 1 GB of SDRAM and now synch up important docs before travelling.I wanted a small form-factor PDA phone, and I have it.I am always on call, and wanted the phone which rang during emergencies to be useful for email, outlook integration, and access to important documents, and I have that.Setting it up to work with exchange over the web was a breeze. The batteries do burn out quick, 1 year later I need a new extended life battery.

2-0 out of 5 stars what's the point of this phone if I can't get it to sync?!
I have two charger/USB cradles for my phone (1 at home and 1 at work) but I have so many problems with both cradles trying to get this phone to sync!I have to repeatedly put it in the cradle, hoping that it will be recognized by the computer.Frequently, I get the message "USB device not recognized."Then, only about half of the time that it's recognized by the computer is it able to sync.I get errors or it disconnects before fulling syncing.I wish I hadn't spent so much money on this phone.

2-0 out of 5 stars waste of money
The web service is terrible; it's unusable it's so slow.It isn't worth getting a phone this big and heavy for.The bigger battery fails after a year, no ifs, ands, or buts. The smaller battery doesn't even last a year.I paid extra for the Yahoo POP mail service ($20 year, not bad at all) but it's hard to read your mail on the screen. There is very little search support for games and ring tones. Once you manage to find a tone you want (good luck with that), the easiest way is to download them from the web on your PC, and then hook up your phone to your PC and transfer them, unless you want it to take forever. As a phone, it works well, and gets a good signal, but it's not worth the $500 I paid for it only a year and a half ago.I was an idiot when I bought this phone. ...
