1-0 out of 5 stars IF ANYONE CAN HELP?
I bought two of these phones for my wife and myself. She was the smarter of the two of us and went back to her old Nokia phone after a few weeks.I had to prove I didn't make a mistake so I kept using it, much to my frustration.
1-0 out of 5 stars avoid this phone
Have never beforehad such a poor experience with a single piece of electronic equipment. Returned the first one after 6 months as screen went dead. The replacement phone from T-mobile the screen failed againafter two months, and the 2nd replacement refused to charge after about a month. I threw in the towel and accepted a replacement of a different model phone.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not that bad of a phone
I have used tons of motorola phones over the years from the v120 to the v330.The v330 does have a couple problems with it well at least for me it did. After a couple months I had problems using the chargers.I switched out 4 chargers, and each one would work good for a couple weeks, then you would have to fiddle with them to charge the phone.

2-0 out of 5 stars Great Intentions - However some issues with product quality
This was a great phone and the product has great intentions but has few bugs to work out.It worked fine for about a week, then the keypad started to not recognize a few keys.We sent it back and Amazon has a great return policy and the return was easy.We haven't purchased a replacement yet.....I'm hoping T-Mobile works out the problems with the keypad and that we can get a more dependable product in our next purchase.Would really like to get a new phone, but am a little worried right now that if I get a replacement that the same problem will follow since I've read that other purhcases have also had problems with the keypads not working properly.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this phone!!!
When they named it Sidekick that's exactly what it is.I don't go anywhere without it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Presently surprised!
PROS: Practical for everyday use of AIM and AOL messaging, email for web based and POP3 services, web browsing and text messaging. Easy to navigate through menus/functions. Big bright screen.

4-0 out of 5 stars Phone Is Good - Star Wars Sucks
The first thing I did when I bought this was to delete all the Star Wars crap that was on this phone. Gimme a break!I settled for a picture of my cat -okay?Then I was happy!Like all camera phones, this took a few hours to figure out, but once you get it down, this little baby does it all.The pictures are only 1.2 mb, but good enough for cell phone transfers and the Internet. The video is amazingly good with the sound loud and clear, but you still hear the closest sounds to the phone louder. The display is attractive and there is the `go back' button, which helps in the beginning of learning.
3-0 out of 5 stars lousy battery life
For the most part, Im very pleased with the phone.. I did my research before purchasing this when my very faithful Nokia needed to be replaced. Phone has lots of features, but you must read the manual to try to figure most out.. sound quality, volume is fine.. in fact with cingular the signal strength is superb. The downside which i noticed right away was the battery life. No friggin way does this have a standby of 275 hours! My talk time total each day might be 1 hour.. if I dont charge the battery at the end of the day (overnight) it is dead the next morning. Maybe because I have 3 photos saved?? I doubt it.. I went back to the Cingular store and was told that is a common problem.. so they gave me a new battery, well it is no better. It is a pain in the butt to remember to charge it.. especially when the phone completely shuts down and will not start up unless it is charged several hours each day.. also the screen is not visible or readible at all outside on a sunny day.. cant even see the numbers on the screen to dial correctly.. forget about seeing the display at the beach!!

1-0 out of 5 stars What good is a phone if it does not ring?
This is my 3rd s710a and still I miss calls because it will not ring (goes right to voice mail.Customer service can not help the cingular store can't help.I plug the phone in at night and sometime during the night it goes into hibernation.I have to turn it off then turn back on to get it to work, and somethings during the day it will just stop ringing. One day I found it strange that the phone was not working so I turned it off then back on and sure enough I missed 8 calls. My wife has the same phone which we purchased at the same time and hers works just fine.

4-0 out of 5 stars I love this phone!
I have had this phone for nearly a month now, and must say I am really happy with it.As a phone it is loud and clear. The signal is strong. The speakerphone is great and people cannot even tell when I'm using it.As far as style goes, it's impressive.Everyone who has seen it either says "WOW!What a great phone!" or "That's too much for me, all I need is a phone to make calls with."I have a feeling they don't want to admit the inferiority of their own phone. That's cool.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great, but stay close to a power plug.
I have had the phone for several weeks now.I adore the feature set. Yes, at times the phone is a little slow to respond to interrupts, but it's nothing too alarming.Honestly, I think it's amazing what this thing is capable of.Thanks to it having MIDP 1.0 and 2.0, I plan on writing a television remote for it in Java soon (since it also has an IR port). The camera is a fun toy.I find it hard to take very crisp pictures because it requires that I keep still for over 2 seconds.I would say this isn't too much to ask, perhaps I should just cut back on the lattes.

1-0 out of 5 stars This phone is terrible!
The speakerphone is barely audible, and the handset volume is also awful.Three times now I have had the phone just re-set and erase the memory, including all pictures, calendar items and phone numbers. It is big, hard to use, and unreliable.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Love this Phone!
Excellent Phone; the USA got lucky with Nokia marketing a Series 60/Symbian Smartphone with EDGE, GSM 850/1800/1900, and more RAM and internal memory then most comparible S60 phones.Granted it only runs on Symbian 7.1 and Series 60 2.1; as far as the phone itself goes, it's been rock-solid for the past year I've owned the phone and I intend on holding on to this phone until the Nokia N80 is released(My guess for ETA: January 20th).
4-0 out of 5 stars Well Satisfied and a Great Value
Having been an AT&T customer for years, I decided to switch over to Cingular with a brand new plan and phone -- the Nokia 6620 -- since Cingular has mostly provided, for me, some great customer support (visiting their stores is another story).

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Phone!
I've had it for 6 months and I am glad I bought it. Excellent features. Flawless syncronization. If you will use it for a lot of emailing I recommend getting a portable bluetooth keyboard. For normal use T9 is sufficient.

3-0 out of 5 stars MDs beware...poor software options, worse reception
Love the size and style of this phone, but if you are an MD, go back to PocketPC or Palm. There is simply no medical software worth having that uses this platform.I even contacted several publishers of the 'basic' medical software and they had no plans to make their products adaptable.I also have a candybar el cheapo cell phone [doesn't even have a camera] that I use at home with the same carrier and the reception is remarkably better.I'm switching to Treo.

4-0 out of 5 stars Overall Good Phone
Overall the phone functions well.It has many features and is easy to read, hold, etc.My biggest complaint is that there is no alarm clock feature. The camera is not the greatest, but it IS primarily a phone, not a digital camera.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Enty Level Nextel
I got the i275 for my wife about 9 months ago, and it has performed very well.
1-0 out of 5 stars Warranty? What warranty?
I had been very happy with my Motorola phone until the battery started losing its charge within a day, even when the phone was turned off. The friendly but incompetent customer support kept me on the phone for an average of 40 minutes for the repeated calls trying to figure out the problem. After the phone had finally been sent to their technical service center, they returned it to me that the phone was irreperable "due to customer abuse." I have done nothing to that phone that could have caused any damage (unless using it to make phone calls counts as "customer abuse"), but got the same comment, without explanation after I had sent the phone in for a second time for reevaluation. It seems that Motorola is just trying to get out of fixing or replacing the phone free of charge under warranty. You'll be fine with a Motorola phone as long as it works. After that, you're on your own. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Actually about the phone!
I upgraded to this phone from the i205.So far I am happy overall with the phone itself, but some of the "extras" are annoying. The Sleep Mode, where the screen goes dark, bugs me to no end.I keep thinking my phone is off, when it is not.And you can't attach a picture to a persons name in your phone so that it pops up when they call (unless I just haven't discovered how to do it.I read the manual cover to cover). The camera takes nice pics (haven't figured out how to zoom in, if I can). The non standatd ringtones that come with the phone (3 of em) are ok.2 are not quite loud enough (but very cool) and the 3rd is just really loud.I like the "Disco Lights", it catches your attention if you don't hear the ring.Music sound quality is very good, if you like music ringtones.Navigaiting the menus took a little getting used to, but I am getting to like it.You can personalize each button, which I thought was neat.At first, when I talked on the phone, it sounded like people were at the end of a tunnel.I think that is a result of digitizing the signal. You get used to it quickly. The screen is bright (except when in bright sunlight) and you can change the palatte colors. The games, Tetris and Bowling are pretty good, but Tetris is demo only. The standard battery doesn't last quite as long as expected.I had to recharge it the first day after the inital 12 hour charge.New toy, had to play with it!It does seem to get used up pretty quickly, but the phone is doing a lot of stuff, even when it is just sitting there.I would recommend getting the more powerful battery available for this phone if you use it a lot everyday. For me, it is fine to charge every couple of days or so.I don't make a ton of calls.I like it and am glad I upgraded.

DO NOT let Mr. Hugh's comments above influence your decision about Nextel. He evidently didn't do his homework before he purchased the phone. Ever complaint he had could be had with any phone company if they didn't have service in your area. Nextel can't help it if he lives in some God-forsaken place out in no-where.

2-0 out of 5 stars Horrible audio, pictures, and video. Otherwise just OK.
I've had this phone for a year now, and I'm sorry I ever bought it. The audio is absolutely HORRIBLE! Sometimes it's actually hard to understand the person calling, even with a 5 bar signal.
4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Phone
This Motoraola phone is Great. I had it for 6 months now( 3 three months prepaid and Now 3 months contract). the V330 is very realible and has great reception and super fast internet. Although with Pre-Paid service a lot of the phones features are disabled such as internation-roam, t-zones games, t-zones internet, and t-zones video. Before travilng abroad with this phone have it unlocked( After T-Mo does it for free) and get a sim card from the country you're in cause T-Mo roaming is supa expensive.
2-0 out of 5 stars Try a different phone
I have had so many problems with this phone and the service. Many times, when I'm trying to call someone, the phone would just sit idle, while it says that it's "calling" someone. I would have to shut it off and try again, only for it to happen again and again. Also, sometimes, when I'm dialing someone who is on my speed dial, and that I've called numerous times before, it would dial and reach another person. This gets to be quite ridiculous. Also, sometimes, when I'm calling someone, the phone will ring once and then won't ring again. It's frusterating, and personally, I'm glad that they took this phone off the market, however, I'm not quite convinced that it's just the phone. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars RUN AWAY - this product defines caveat emptor!
I do not review things, and I have an extremely high level of tolerance for product functioning. Nevertheless, I am so fed up with my palmOne Treo 650 (which I have owned for a year), that I have called Verizon today, complained to Palm, joined a class action, and reactiviated my several year-old flip phone that has water damage. Yes - my water damaged, cheap LG phone functions better than my palm treo.
5-0 out of 5 stars My invaluable personal assistant
If I lost my Treo tonight I would lose countless documents that I regulary review, an endless store of contacts, multiple medical references, my trusted primary phone line, games that lighten the day, memos that remind me where I am, my schedule for the next 3 months, and my alarm for tomorrow morning ... those are just the important things. As you can see, I rely on my Treo nearly as much as my wife (although clearly I would not tell her that); and it has followed through. No complaints ... I think that deserves 5 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Convenient, compact, versatile....
I got my Treo about 4 months ago and I love it.There are very tiny gliches (b/c of me) but nothing wrong with the phone/pda itself.I love the functionality of the Treo 650 because I can do school, business, personal, and other things all on one product.

I've had 4 different cell phones in my life and this one has been the best one so far. Two have been Samsung and I think they're one of the best cell phone makers. (Nokia is a horrible brand, I don't recommend Nokias.) This is a good quality phone that has outlasted a few falls and a quick fall into a sink with the water running. It takes pretty good pictures as far as I'm concerened. One thing about the camera part of the phone is that after taking a picture it comes out a little further away than it looked before you took it, but that is something you can get used to. I rarely have reception problems. The speaker phone works great. The only thing some people might not like is having to confirm turning the speaker phone on, but it's something you can get used to as well and it isn't a big deal. I really love this phone. It's a simple, durable, well rounded phone with some nice features. My whole family has this exact same phone and none of us has had any problems so far. We've all dropped the phone plenty of times with no problems whatsoever. The phone also has good battery life. I can go 2 or 3 days without recharging it. I highly recommend this phone or any Samsung phones.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nice Looking but Poor Reception
Great looking phone, very small and lightweight.Unfortunately, the antaenna doesn't cut it.I get no reception in places where everybody else has reception, and in places where there is interference, the phone drops calls regularly. For example, I can't talk with the hands-free adapter and have the phone in my pocket.I also can't talk whilst using my laptop, probably because of interference from the laptop's wireless internet connexion. This is an older phone, so I guess this problem is down to phone manufacturers' inexperience with making internal antaenna phones.I understand newer ones (e.g., the Pebl) are better.
4-0 out of 5 stars No frills phone works great as a cell phone
The Samsung E335 is a great little cell phone. It has one of the easiest interfaces to learn and is very easy to use.It is small enough to fit in most pant pockets and stylish enough with today's trends. It is pretty sturdy and seems well made.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love my phone!
This phone is great! I had this phone since January! I love my speakerphone, this come in handy for me since i'm always on the go! the thing I can't stand is that I can't type anything in the display or have screensaver. Other then that it's worth it!

2-0 out of 5 stars pretty junky
I am not a fan of this phone.I've had it for about a year, and is is experiencing a long, slow, death. The features are nothing to write home about, and I would not say it is durable (both the internal and external displays are now cracked). The camera is ok, but there is very little memory inside the phone, and i never found a way to get pictures off the phone without emailing/SMS-ing them, which Cingular charges *way* too much for.I am probably going to break my contract with cingular and suck up the termination fee, rather than trying to get this thing to last another year.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great For a While, And Then . . .
I've had my E715 for over two years now, and my screen fried at the 1 1/2 year mark. It can still see things on the screen, but it's as if someone turned up the brightness feature so high that everything is washed out. I can barely read menus, and forget about having any wallpapers or seeing any photos. I wish the screen had lasted longer. I am currently searching for a different phone.

3-0 out of 5 stars My Experiences...
I've had this phone for about a year now, but after about 6 months the screen showed signs of damage. The screen is so bright that you can hardly read the menu prompts and there are lines going through the screen. I had never dropped the phone before the screen exhibited these problems. A friend with the same phone told me that he had dealt with the same problems, fortunately for him he had insurance (I do not [long story]).
4-0 out of 5 stars e715
I have used this model for two years now.I find that I really like this phone, but I notice the horizontal white lines across the screen also.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not 13, easier this way, bad phone.
I am not hard to please when it comes to cell phones, as long as it has a camera and it rings and I can talk to people it will do.My old Kyocera model is better than this. (This is after a basketball hit it two or three times.) The phone for some strange reason shorts out on me.It goes off randomly and doesn't come back on and this has happened to me three times this year. The first time it happened it was at the worst moment possible: A snowstorm at 2 AM is not an ideal setting for your phone to short out.The sencond time it happend randomly and the third time it did the same thing.
2-0 out of 5 stars Okay phone, but...
I got this phone back in January. I must admit, I do like the phone, but I've already bought a replacement. The sound quality of the phone is not very clear... ear piece volume is kind of low and I find myself using speakerphone all the time. Has infared, which is really nice when your laptop has infared also (I've made TONS of my own mp3 ringtones, saved all my pictures on my PC). I had my first one replaced in March because the side buttons (the volume and camera) would no longer work. The camera's okay (it's a phone) - video quality is horrid. No Bluetooth, which my girls friends have 'dubbed' a hassle, because there are many times they want to Bluetooth me sound clips and pictures from their Razrs. It doesn't have much memory capacity (only about 3 MB), so you can't save much. That's ultimately why I bought the Motorola MPX 220 to replace it. Many people I know who have bought the phone have taken it back, or delcare the ones they still own have some WILD problems. It also doesn't pick up signal as good as my mom's Motorola V551.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not A Bad Unit
This review is long and rambling because the phone (to me) does so much that to describe it in any rational order would just be too much like work.

1-0 out of 5 stars Sound Is An Important Feature For A Phone
If I had written this review shortly after the purchase of my phone, it would have been filled with accolades. This phone is fantastic...until it breaks.Several years ago, I purchased the Treo 600 palm phone with Sprint coverage.Within one year, the sound stopped working.I was given a refurbished phone, which eventually came to the same end.So, now on my third phone, the sound is again causing problems.Of course, this one fell apart a year and a week after the last one was replaced so Sprint refuses to replace it.
4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good little device
I've had my Treo 600 over a year now, and haven't had any trouble, except for a couple lock-ups that cleared away easily w/ a soft reset.I just installed a 1 meg SD card and Real-player's MP3 player (free!) on the phone and the sound quality (w/ Sony earbuds) is much better than I expected. The 650 wasn't available when I bought mine--I assume I'd buy a 650 if I were shopping today.OBTW, I'm on Sprint and it works well, BUT!!You can't (currently) take Sprint phones over to Europe (GSM, CDMA, whatever...), so if you travel much, think about that before you go w/ a certain provider.

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth it!
i had samsung v205 for almost 3 years now and all i can say is it's one of the best phones i have ever had. although there are some darwbacks such as low batt life and sometimes it turns off by itself. Nevertheless, it is the best!i will never regret buying one and im delightful coz it's still working after all the heat, and drop!Viva la V205!

4-0 out of 5 stars The Durable Camera Phone
I just read two other reviews and realized that my Samsung v205 lasted almost exactly two years also.I must agree that this phone is most definetely durable (at least until the two year mark).I need to be honest in saying that the camera aspect of the phone really never impressed me.Comparing the quality to other camera phones, my phone was generally the worst. In addition, the lens always collected dust and debris that was VERY hard to clean out. Some "close-to-two-years" issues I found were the #7 key losing its sensitivity, the side hinge barrel breaking off (which happened while I was simply talking on the phone), and eventually, the internal wiring of the camera ripping in half to where it became nonfunctional. But for lasting two years (and a couple months), I give this phone my esteem.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great phone
I Had this phone for 3 years t is the best phone ever had

5-0 out of 5 stars STILL the best darn display on the market!
I bot my vm4050 ($330!!) way back in FEB 2004. About a month or two ago, I decided to donate my phone to the fish in Lake Lanier. What a generous guy I am, eh? Meanwhile, since Sprint no longer has any VM4050s available, I had to settle for a (YUCK!) Sanyo MM-8300. A TOTAL piece of crap. SMALL, CRUMMY screen, teeny-tiny USELESS outside display, and NO headset flash button functionality. All the wonderful things that I had taken for granted on my VM4050 phone were now down at the bottom of the lake. :(
2-0 out of 5 stars JADED & JILTED
After three years of having this phone I've finally given up. I recently just replaced my VM4050 for the THIRD time and I had to demand a different type of phone. This last one didn't even make it twenty four hours. This phone will eventually go to pieces on you, do not be confused. No amount of software upgrade will help. My first two began to blank out on me, turn off and on by itself, the menu screens would freeze out and I started receiving text messages two hours after they had been sent. The real music tones are horrible in quality past level two and the phone is generally frustrating. BUYER BEWARE!!

5-0 out of 5 stars GReat phone just as good as newer sprint phones

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this phone with such a bad history!
I bought this phone without doing the research I usually do because I've owned a Palm PDA for years.Turns out this phone and the 650 are part of a class action lawsuit because of the problems the phone has had.
1-0 out of 5 stars Run ...from this no - service company
I have owned this unlocked GSM 600 phone for 3 agonizing years. Not sure whether to lynch the engineers, techs or marketers!!! Lots of potential and promises and absolutely horrible customer care.Treo and PalmOne really sucks and is pushing otherwise dedicated customers to other smart phones.Blackberry does less but more reliably. So long you silver piece of _____, I am tired of dropped calls, shut offs and resets.JGK

1-0 out of 5 stars Spend your hard earned money on something worthy!
It is less than a year since I got my treo 600. This will be the third set I am going to get in warranty exchange program (I called these guys up today again with couple of problems and they are going to send me a new set).
