4-0 out of 5 stars Good for a Verizon phone
I'm just getting acquainted with the new razor and i am not displeased so far.One of the problems with Verizon is, as everyone knows, their complete lack of creativity or form combined with function.(i really want the HAL 9000 phone from Nokia)One thing i noticed (for which i found no entries on the web) is that within the first 3 days of owning the phone, the battery got extremely hot, and lost its charge in 6 hours.Needless to say, it was replaced.Since getting the new one, i have had a few issues:
5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT PHONE!
Don't listen to the bad reviews. This phone is great. I bought my Razr 3 or 4 months ago, and I was reall nervous about it considering all of the bad reviews on this site. So far, I have not had a single problem. THE BATTERY LIFE IS EXCELLENT!!!! I leave my phone on from about 7-8 in the morning till 11-12 at night. With all of that time, I have only had to charge my phone 2 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS!!! I get about 5 or 6 days of use without charging, while the phone is constantly on. THERE IS NO ECHO problem with the phone unless you are really close to the person you are talking to. I love that you can shut the phone and still be on speakerphone. I can keep my phone closed in my pocket while I drive and talk to friends and we can hear each other just fine. This phone is also very durable. I have dropped my phone multiple times on concrete and my phone is scratch and damage free! Believe me, there are always bad reviews for things like this, but I guess you have to decide which side is more credible. But I can tell you from personal experience that I have found that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this phone. If you really want more proof, go to professional websites that review electronic items (google it) and they will give you much more credible proof about this phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hacks
First off I did not buy this product at amazon.com I bought it from the Verizon store. I think this phone is a really, really nice verison of the razr, being that I've had 2 other razrs (v3and v3i). This one feels a lot more sturdy in your hand, and it doesnt feel cheap as the v3 did, while maintaining its sleek, slim look, unlike the v3x which is a lot thicker. Furthermore, the camera on this razr is far superior to the previous versions, excluding the v3x(2 megapixels). It has a 1.3 megapixel camera, but I don't really use it for the camera, its only good for those surprise moments :P. Also I've noticed that the audio quality is a lot better than the other razrs, the songs/ringtones sound a lot more crisp and rich. Also the phonebook feature is fixed, I used to hate to have to wait like 30 seconds just to get to what contact I wanted (v3), Also new to this razr, is the voice command system, you can instantly look up numbers via voice command. You can also check battery levels, and signal strength. And the pause between letters in a text message is reduced, so no more waiting 2 seconds to type "no" :). Battery life is very much improved from the other razr models probably because this is a CDMA phone instead of the normal GSM razrs. A con however is the fact that if it gets scratched you will be able to easily tell it did, but I believe they offer this phone in silver if this is an issue. If you want to get really fancy you could get a custom case designed and handmade for your phone at vajacases.com.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Ever
I love my phone, although I didnt purchase it from here, its still a great phone, the picture quality is absolutly great, the menu and everything it does it fantastic, and my ringtones I get from my own music off my computer which is great because everybody else is spending money to pay for ringtones and all I have to do is download them from my music library and besides my phone isnt out in stores where I am so its one of a kind down here, which is good I like to stand out cuz everyone else has awful aggrivating flip phones

5-0 out of 5 stars My weapon of choice.
First off, let me just say that I don't use flip phones. I find it tedious to flip those things open and closed all the time, squeaky and loose hinges, and just an all-around annoying ritual. With that said, I chose the Nokia 7610 and haven't had any regrets since.
5-0 out of 5 stars Elegant, Durable, and Powerful
After doing my bit of research and reading a couple reviews on the Nokia 7610, I decided to get this phone with my new plan. My previous phone was a Samsung e715, which was good for the first 6 months before the screen turned washed out looking. For my second phone, I wanted something that could handle more functions, was more customizable, and could expand with my needs. Basically, I wanted something between all the other cell phones and a full fledged PDA. The Nokia 7610 was perfect because it had the good build quality that Nokia stands for but also uses the Symbian 60 v7.0 operating system. It is essentially a smartphone. People who are looking at this phone have to realize that it is not intended for people who want to use it for one reason only. This phone comes with a 1.2MP camera/videocamera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, a mini MMC expansion slot (with 64mb card included), and one of the best LCD screens around. In addition, a USB cable is included, so you can download programs, mp3s, themes, ringtones and send them to your phone. Tactile response is pretty good. Actually, I'd say it was a little "too" good since the buttons might seem to give a noisy "click" sound to some people. But hey, at least they're not mushy and hard to press. The speed of the operating system is pretty good as well. I heard that the Nokia 6600 seiries phones had lagging problems when turning on the phone or opening programs. It seems this problem has been fixed in the updated OS here. Overall, I'd say this is close to the most perfect phone I could imagine. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars The worst phone that I had ever bought
The phone is slow, and the keybooard is too responsive.Sometimes I press one number and it is dialed twice. When I answer calls usually they are put on hold.I wont buy any other sony ericsson product ever.At least mobile phones. Also, sometimes the home charger does not charge my mobile. It is really bad.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad phone
This phone is fine but the joystick will break and you will not be able to use the phone.

3-0 out of 5 stars a great phone if it wasn't for the weak-link joystick
This was my second Sony-Ericsson phone (the first was a T68i), and the fatal flaw in both phones was poor joystick design. In both cases, after about a year and a half of light to normal use, the joystick started to work erratically.Movement either did not register, or registered as 'Enter' rather than movement.Since you cannot do anything on this phone without using the joystick, it becomes difficult to perform basic actions, such as locating and calling a contact. It also means that I frequently make and have to quickly cancel multiple accidental calls due to unintended input before I make it to the intended number in the contact list.I will never again purchase a cell phone that has a joystick.

4-0 out of 5 stars Works great so far...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I've got another year on my contract with Cingular, but so far, after a whole year+ of use, I haven't had any problems with this phone.I love the bright screen and large key pad. Also, the bluetooth is fabulous - I don't have to pay to email my pictures to myself or anyone else because I can just send them straight to my computer via bluetooth!I also love the bluetooth because it allows me to create my ringtones - which once again saves me from having to pay for them.Plus, I get the exact clip I want from any song I want, so it's a win, win situation. The menus are fairly user friendly, and I've had no problem customizing my phone.
4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
I bought this phone Feb '05 and for just over a year, it worked beautifully. I had owned 3 different Nokia non-flip phones before switching to Motorola.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great phone - just don't drop it.
Pros:Windows Mobile in a small clam-shell style phone.Nothing else like it, really. It plays Audible.com audiobooks, MP3s (don't need iTunes), syncs up with Outlook, and you can download all kinds of cool software. You can even expand the memory with a 1GB SD card.It does everything an iPod can do and much more.
2-0 out of 5 stars Great Features, Poor Quality...
I've gone through two of these in a little over a year. The phones are known to be of poor quality. In both of mine, the volume was low (I've done the upgrade) and they phone died by not being able to recharge the battery.I have a number of chargers and while they work on other phones (with my battery) none of them will charge the battery on my phone.

2-0 out of 5 stars It Has Potential But the Cons Overshadow the Pros
This phone would be great if it did not have so many problems. It has so many cool features, people love my phone, but sometimes I want to throw it out the window. My brother has the same phone and he wants to get rid of it just as much as I do. This is my third s710a and they all had the same problems:
3-0 out of 5 stars The good, the bad and the ugly
I have had this phone for nine months now, and now am hoping to rid myself of it. It is a very nice phone, with many features, and advanced options, yet it just leaves to much to be desired, in my opinion. Firstly, the voice quality that other people hear when i call them is awful. I think the microphone is on the front of the phone, ie that part that touches your face when you hold it at a natural angle. However, the quality has degraded as time has passed. Another problem is that the OS is very slow, and occasionaly requires a reboot. The battery life is iffy, and occasionally, just drops to almost nothing for no reason. Another problem i face is that it drops calls when i dial out of my phone book ~50% of the time. It is like it forgets that i asked it to call, but appears in the call log. And finally, the swivel design. I loved it, and originally bought it in part b/c i like the design a lot, but it is a pain. It takes some skill to do while driving or with one hand. Not bad, but i would like people to be able to hear my over the phone. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Not very good, connectivity very poor
You can put many pictures on the phone but there's no way to transfer them off without using Sprint Internet service. Same with Ringtone downloads and software upgrades. Can't use the bluetooth connection on the phone for much of anything useful except wireless headphone. Audio connection over bluetooth was extremely scratchy and noisy, unuseable.

1-0 out of 5 stars Didn't even last 3 weeks
This phone lasted only 3 weeks before it would no longer power on. Even before that I wasn't crazy about the phone. I didn't like the location of the speaker phone button. I was always hitting it by accident and locking the keys shouldn't be required in my mind.

3-0 out of 5 stars A few drawbacks, otherwise a good phone.
I got my A460 for several days. It looks good and feels comfortable in hand. It has all the features listed in the website. Voice call quality generally is good. I can hear the other party clearly and other peoples have no complains about my voice. The speakerphone works nice in quiet environment. In noise environment or if both party speak simutaniously echobuilds up occasionally , but it's OK most of the time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent but for one drawback...
I have had this phone for 11 months and it was my first cell phone purchase. Now I am renewing my contract and upgrading my phone. I would not be upgrading my phone if it wasn't for the simple fact that:
5-0 out of 5 stars Nice...
This was my first cell phone...and I love it! It's a very cute and compact cell phone! I also love the mini display in the front. I have gotten 3 new cell phones, and all of them have been this one. I just love it!!

4-0 out of 5 stars I like my e317
I have had the Samsung e317 flip phone for about eight months now. Its capabilitiesinclude Text Messaging, Multimedia Messaging, Ring tones, Games, and Photos. This phone has a screen on the front which can be set to show photo caller ID (which I really enjoy). It is small and compact, and have a exceptionally good camera providing you are not taking far away photos (but I have found this to be the case with all picture phones). The only complaint I have about the design of this phone it that the photo button is on the outside of the phone...thus I have about 43 pictures of the blackness inside my purse. The battery hold its charge exceptionally well. Truthfully, I don't use my phone all that much during the day, but it is always on -- and I rarely have to charge it. The e317 gets the best reception of any flip phone I have owned. Overall I would highly recommend this phone if you are in the market for a descent flip phone with a few extra "bells and whistles", but are no interested in spending a lot. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Some slick design????
My main problem with this phone is the design. The rubber is coming off, and sprint tells me that will not replace the phone. What is the purpose of having an extended warranty.Sprint will not replace may $370.00 phone unless there is a problem, like ear plug does not work, guess what it does it.Sprint has not replace my phone as of yet. They are willing to give me a different phone that was someone else's phone.I don't think so. This phone cost to much for sprint to give me some crappy phone that belonged to somebody else.

5-0 out of 5 stars No problems here...
The thing works great!I've had no dropped calls and that's from my home which has bad reception for all phones.Very sturdy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Even Think About It!
The only thing worse than this phone has been Sprint's response to addressing the phone. This phone began dropping calls about 90% of the time a week after I bought it.I took it to the Sprint store which my warranty directed me to and Sprint stated it was Sanyo's problem and I should contact them. After several emails, phone calls (using a land line since my $350 phone wouldn't function), & me reading word for word the warranty that came with the phone I purchased 3 weeks prior, Sprint stated if I took it back to the store, they would exchange it.After researching on the web, the dropped calls are a common complaint which Sprint has chosen to ignore, instead passing the defective phones on to their customers.I've been a satisfied Sprint customer for 8 years but this phone and Sprint's response leaves me feeling like Sprint has been deceptive.I will not remain a customer. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A champ!
This phone has been great. I have carried it with me everywhere I go for the last 2 1/2 years, and it has held up wonderfully. I have never had any mechanical problems, and aside from some minor cosmetic scratches from normal wear and tear this phone still looks and works just as great as it did when I bought it. I believe this was the first camera phone on the market to have both a flash and a zoom lens, and even today it takes better pictures than a lot of the new ones they are coming out with. The Internet capability was also very groundbreaking for me, and it was so convenient to be able to do things like check movie times at local theaters with the push of a fwe buttons. I'm getting to the point where I am about to upgrade, but really only for the purpose of getting a phone with camcorder and LiveMedia capability. I have had a couple of problems with the Sprint service over the years, which I think is somewhat unavoidable in this day and age, but they have always been willing to work with me and do what they could to resolve the issue. Bottom line, this phone has served me well and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good reliable camera phone.

4-0 out of 5 stars Just looking for an upgrade
When i first bought this phone 2 years ago, i fell in love! It has a camera w/ a flash, and took better pictures than most of the other phones out there at the time.
2-0 out of 5 stars Bad hinge
The flip phone hinges froze up and then one side at a time broke the plastic case and came apart until it broke the display cable. Takes the special y driver to replace the case and I can't find a Cell Phone store to replace the case.

3-0 out of 5 stars GOOD phone..THIS REVIEW WILL HELP...
I got this phone for my birthday...first time I saw it I loved it...it looked really awesome... I had the phone for about 5 monthes when one time the screen turned white...like I noticed another person who reviewed this phone said the same thing.I took out the battery and then put the battery back in and it was all ok again. It happens every so often...ive had the phone for nearly 11 months now, and its only gone white about 3 times... them i noticed that there is a squshy thing around the keys and that if you push that down to hard it causes the screen to go white, because everytime it turned white i was fiddling with the squshy thing...so if you get this phone i wouldnt mess with the squshy thing. But it is also easy to scratch since the front screen is somewhat like a mirrior.and scratches easily show up on the silver part..i was really careful about dropping the phone because its soo pretty looking.the camera is good, except the pictures comes out to dark. also sometimes id turn it off and turn it on and it would say it needed a sim card, even though it was in already in the phone...soo i would have to take the battery out and push the sim card in it. I REALLY LOVED THIS PHONE THOUGH. it doesnt have aim or anything but ive never seen anyone with this phone EVER.. its a really unique cool phone. I enjoyed it a lot.... yeah..but the color on the screen for the phone is really clear.
1-0 out of 5 stars worst phone ever
I got this phone 3 months ago as a replacement for the previous worst phone ever (the sharp tm 150). I kept the phone in perfect condition not a scratch on any of the screens maybe one or two small scratches just from regular wear. About two weeks ago the zero button stopped working which is quite a pain in the ass when you are trying to dial a number with a zero in it. Then a couple days ago my phone started to drop all outgoing calls after 2 rings and when trying to pick up an incoming call it says connecting for a couple seconds and hangs up (I called it myself to make sure). The phone is now useless as a phone and t-mobile wants to send me a replacement but my friend who runs a t-mobile store and 2 mall booths said that he doesnt even offer the phone because it is such a piece of crap. Now when T-mobile store managers say the phone blows does that make you want to get another one. When I told them I didn't want the same phone they said they can send me a phone with comparable features for $150 dollars but why would I want to spend another dime on their products and services when the last two phones I have gotten from them broke.
5-0 out of 5 stars Flashy without the actual FLASH!
I had been wanting this phone for about 4 months before I got it. The thing that drew me to this phone so much is since I am in college and everyone has a cell phone I wanted a cell phone that no one had. Out of whereve I have ever been I have only seen this phone once before, so I had to have it since it was such a limited demanded item.

4-0 out of 5 stars KX2 Koi
I've used this phone for over a year and love it. Easy to use. I've had Kyoceras before (candybar /stick style) and all the screens went bad. This ones going great. Only con has been problems finding real music type ringtones and not the midi style.I was worried about the pivot style hinge when I got it but it hasn't had any problems nor has it loosened with use.
1-0 out of 5 stars bad
Kyocera make the worst phone in the world. Don't touch it, otherwise I am sure you will regret as I did. I really admire those Kyocera people who can make phones so bad.

4-0 out of 5 stars Stylish & Practical
All in all this phone does the job.Downside, not bluetooth enabled & picture quality is only slightly better then a pre 90's cheap camera.I use this in construction and have dropped it twice in concrete, once on 3' of water and to many times to count on the ground.Never any problems(even in the water just turned off, dryed out and good as new).If not for the camera and bluetooth features it would easy be 5 stars. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad.
I'm a pretty tech-allergic person.I've had this phone for about a year, and have been very happy with the reception I've gotten in and around urban and rural areas.Cons are that the camera lens and external display are not very well sealed, so dirt is sneaking in to fog them up.Unattractive, but not life-threatening.In addition, the external display seems to have gotten confused these days and doesn't consistently display the time and other icons, but rather a blank blue screen. The other day, the audio stopped working, meaning that people can call me, but I can't hear them, even though they can hear me.Despite all that, I am trying to replace it with the same model because I like the basic features and don't need fancy bells and whistles.

4-0 out of 5 stars Surprising from Sony
I bought this phone the minute it came out even though slimmer, more expensive phones were coming out around that time. I probably paid 170$ for the phone at the time. I had previously owned a Sony Ericsson T300/306 and found the phone to be bulky and impractical. All I knew was that I wanted a flip phone with a camera and WAP.
5-0 out of 5 stars A phone that is finally better than the Nokia phones
Before I got this phone, I had a Nokia flip phone. Unfortunately my dog chewed it up, so I went to a Cingular store to get a used flip phone they had availible and that was the Sony Ericsson. Even though the screen was hard to see outside (it was also was the same thing with my nokia phone) and the camera picture quality was a disappointing (worse than the camera on my nokia phone). I really don't care about using the camera feature on my sony ericsson anyways. Everything else had features I wanted and worked pretty good. The reception on the Sony Ericsson was alot better than the reception on the nokia phone I used to have. This phone was very reliable and I never had any phone related problems with it. Times that makes my phone act goofy is just because of the phone service carrier and their glitches (Cingular). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Phone
This is the 3rd and best phone phone I have owned an used extensively.I couldn't be happier with the sound and call quality, the features and the fast mobile internet.Start to finish I can check my email in 12 seconds and it supports my company's webmail.I had the VCAST for a month for free and it was very cool and impressed the many people I showed it to but the $15 a month is a bit much for it.Overall a great, sturdy phone (I have dropped it several times on concrete, no damage)

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this phone!
The LG VX8000 is awesome! I've had this phone for about 6 months now and I've had NO dropped calls. I've never had bad reception, and unlike most people, I love the fact that it's a little bit bigger and "sturdier" than a lot of cell phones out there. I had the LG4400 before this one, although I liked the 4400, the 8000 sounds better. The ringers are louder, and so are your callers! My husband has the 7000,the ONLY thing better on that one(7000) is the "pretty" light show you get when his phone rings. No, you can't turn those lights off. So, in short, I LOVE my LG VX8000.

5-0 out of 5 stars great phone
I love my phone!I never thought I would use a cellphone to show pictures of my grandchildren, but I do, and they look pretty darn good. When e-mailed they come out quite well.Call quality is great, not many dropped calls. The screen is big, buttons are easy to navigate, and calls are very clear.I can go many days without charging my phone, even after taking pics and looking at them over and over.I love the voice dialing and the picture showing when someone is calling me.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Christmas Present Gets 5 stars!
I think this phone is really great I got it for Christmas and I love it!

2-0 out of 5 stars It broke after one month and reception is poor.
The antenna broke after one month and there is no replacement available from Samsung. They said to send it in, which means I would be without my phone for who knows how long. Then I read some reviews about poor reception from this phone and decided just to buy a new Motorola e815 (at the full price) and the difference is incredible. Also, if I break the Motorola antenna it easily unscrews so I can replace it. The Samsung is half the phone of the Motorola. There is no comparison.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best phones out there in the market.
I had this phone for about 7 months now and it's been amazing ever since I bought it.This phone has everything one could ask for.Mega-pixel Camera w/ flash is really awesome. You can take a real clear pictures. The dual LCD screens are 262k in color, compared to only 56k color for most other color phones. The graphics are really excellent. You can also watch TV and play 3D games. The list goes on.....With Amazon, you can get this phone for $150 now.Which is great since I paid $300 when it first came out. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars (Rating: 6 out of 10): It's Good For A While, But After 2 Years...Eh?
I've had this phone since Christmas 2004 and I'd say that it's a good phone. I have this phone by Sprint Phone Service, and have been using that company for about 5 years. Easy to store numbers, text message, internet, you know, the whole nine yards, and that made me happy. What I liked about the phone is that if you took a picture of someone, you can store it in the phone in a way so that if he or she calls, their picture will pop up. Also the battery is good and last longer than usual, which I also like. The camera is pretty decent. I don't expect no high quality mega-pixel camera, but just something to take pictures with, and it works okay. It comes with features like flash, and a way to change the color of your photos.
3-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful until after 1 year!!
When I first bought this phone I was truely in love with it and its price. It has a great body and wonderful capabilities. I did not like the fact that it didnt have a speakerphone, but i could live with that.
5-0 out of 5 stars The reasons Why Sprint Nextel are the best!
Sprint in my opinion the best wireless carrier out their. It is odd that they merged with Nextel, because they are my second favorite.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love my phone.
At first, when I was switching over from a basic cell phone, I didn't know if I wanted one that was going to have so many features to it. But after getting this phone, I love it and I barely ever have any trouble with it. It has frozen up on me a couple times, but I have had it for almost a year now and it really has only been a couple times. But overall, it has been great! I love the mp3 feature.

3-0 out of 5 stars defaults to T9Word
The phone is okay by most criteria and the camera has a nice little protective sliding cover for the lens. The big drawback -- in "MEMO" the default text entry mode is T9Word (that gimmicky little program that guesses what word you're trying to type and imposes its guess) which I deeply hate, and is inappropriate for anyone with more than a third grade vocabulary, or anyone who needs to make up their own abbreviations to fit the limitations of the memo memory (who doesn't?!!)Furthermore, the phone won't let you shift to ABC mode immediately after selecting the memo function. You have to start typing in T9Word, then shift to ABC.It's insane and very irritating. There's no way to change the default, or to disable or remove the T9Word mode. For this alone, I wish I hadn't gotten this phone. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars great phone
i personlly LOVE this phone. i love new stuff and this is one ofmy favorite toys. Sure its a little large for a cellphone but with a bluetooth headset your fine. my phone does just fine on battery life and as for low volume, i had an audiovox phone b4 and its just the brand and a bluetooth headset or putting it on speakerphone works just fine for me. 1 word of advise is to purchase more stylus, because YOU WILL LOSE THEM... just a fact of life. overall i LOVE this phone and recommend it if you like new "geeky" toys.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pump up the volume
The first thing I did when boiught this phone was drive over the hill.Every other call was dropped (with same service provider as they are the only national one in our rural area) until I got this phone and voila I can talk nearly everywhere. Now if onlyI could hear everywhere- I cannot hear you now if there is ambient noise and I don't have an earpiece in.
5-0 out of 5 stars pda plus
I've had a windows CE/pocket PC based pda since they started. The addition of the Phone to it is great! It performs quickly and reliably. have had no problems in over a year of using, dropping and connecting. The internet connections works well and the VPN, Wireless sync, and pop3 clients are strong. only downsides are too low volume and no zoom on the camera! ...
