1-0 out of 5 stars Help
If you bay any Blackbery device you also buy a problem. This is good if you make no change and only use to send mails. They do not provide online help or a mail account to make questions. The Desktop software has pour logic and usually makes what is not expected. The help always referrer to the Administrator or to the manual! So, what happen if you would like to do something by your self? Probably you have to spend lot of time reading the whole book. What happen if you do not have an administrator? This shows you the lake of respect for the costumers. This is definitely not a company oriented to final customers, their target is B2B, and so you have to be careful.

1-0 out of 5 stars And these guys set the standard?!?!
Rather than write a typical review, I'll simply print my letter to RIM, the makers of Blackberry:
1-0 out of 5 stars Worst customer services
T-mobile has the worst customer services. Sometimes, It is the company's mistake and they still blame it on the customer. Since I started my plan, I had a problem reciving my bill on time. So, the company start charging me $5 late fee for four consecutive months. Also, when I tried adding additional features such as their text-message-bundle, the change on the account did not take effect till two days later, and I was charged for 10 cents for each message I used in these two days, and It costed me an additional $4. Every time I tried complaining to their customer services, they just wouldn't listen. I am starting to get the feeling that they are just trying to maximize their profit. More than once, if I stay long-enough on the line, they put me on mute so they don't have to listen to my complaining. I feeling that I am being treated like dirt not like a customer. I had the worst customer-services experience with t-mobile. Also, the reception is not the best in the country. I had friends who were using the same phone as the one I have but different network, and they were getting services in places where I don't have it, and they pay about the same amount of money. ... I Love my new i860 camera phone. My next-door nabor gave me this phone, but it was all scrached and frooze when using NOL. So I brought it to the nextel service center and got some of its parts replaced. Below are the following I got done. THINGS I WANT DONE TO MY NEXTEL i860 camera phone
1-0 out of 5 stars The biggest piece of [...] EVER!
I can deal with the battery life being bad, but the problem I am having is bad.Seems that most of the time, if I answer a call, or open my phone to make a call, the phone powers down. Today for the first time, it actually did that in the middle of a call. I had called Motorola, and they said that this is a defect in many of the phones. I can get it fixed on my dime, and be without my phone for approx [...]

4-0 out of 5 stars the phone is just fine
The guy who complains about poor reception is probably having problems with t-mobile more than the phone itself.I recently moved to a new city and the reception with this phone (and t-mobile prepaid) is impeccable. But in the city where I purchased the phone it was dismal.
2-0 out of 5 stars A basic phone, but ok to have
I've had my phone for 5 days and I hate it.At first I thought it was a cool phone to have but I was wrong.Actually i got the phone for free with a new activation.I know that Samsung has good products, but not this one. The Samsung T209 has poor reception,it does not ring loud enough, and the battery seems to go down real fast. The 2 things that I do like about the phone is that it has an external caller id and a color screen.I would not advise anyone to purchase this phone. The phone that Im looking into now is the samsung T509, the thinnest phone ever.I heard its a good phone and has the best reception also clear calls, but well see.

3-0 out of 5 stars Basic low end phone. Few features, little excitement, but decently reliable
Samsung has a fairly reliable history as far as the quality and features of their GSM mobile phones go. I used to sell GSM phones B2B for a national GSM carrier, and I sold more Samsungs than anything else, including Motorola. Motorola people generally bought because of the design or some gadget feature. Samsung was bought because it offers a more reliable phone with better features, and a better price. Samsung has made great strides in its design process in recent years, and has once again delivered a decent lowend phone that offers a good value for the little amount of money it costs.

1-0 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy This!!!!!!
This is not a good phone. Please do not get this phone for kids over seven. I had one, and I was made fun of, and it is very easy to lose. I am 11, and in middle school, and no one ever wants to even look at it, while kids with normal phones can bring thyem out anytome without being made fun of. I would give this phone 0 stars if i could.

1-0 out of 5 stars Firefly BAD for Kids' Emergency Phone!!!
Rather than write a review -- I'll just let you read my email to Firefly that I sent today!Enjoy!!
5-0 out of 5 stars Purchased For Six Year Old
I think this is a great learning phone for a child, It is easily programmed with no instuctions. I was able to pop a t-mobile prepaid sim card in and it worked with no problems. If a number is not preprogrammed by you then your child cannot receive the call, thus eliminating unwanted calls. Someone else did not like the male/female keys but i think they are perfect for distinguishing between mom and dad and make it easier for the child to contact one or the other in the event of an emergency. The screen can also be programmed a certain color when mom or dad call so that the child can recognize whose calling by color also. One thing i would like to note as it took several calls to figure out, the talk volume is set very high to begin with, you need to have an active call on the phone in order to set the talk volume with the buttons on the side of the phone, otherwise you will just be adjusting the ring volume, also be sure to save at the time of adjustment. It looks like a toy phone, but works great, so i think 6-8 is probably a good age for this phone. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible phone
I have had this phone for about six months.I replaced a Kyocera that I disliked because it was so big, but the size of this phone does not begin to make up for its problems. The menus are very poorly designed, they are difficult to navigate and it's hard to do anything. The ringer speaker is inside the phone, so when it's closed, it's almost impossible to hear.I almost never hear it ring.I usually keep it in my pocket with the vibrate turned on, but if you turn the phone off, the vibrate gets turned off, so you have to remember to turn that back on!I hate this phone, and will be replacing it soon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Good Phone
This phone is great! It has all the basic features I wanted out of a phone and I was able to fix thelow ringtone problem by searching for "audiovox 8610 hack" over the internet.
2-0 out of 5 stars Virgin Mobile= poor quality phones
I reluctantly bought this phone because my Kyocera Slider suddenly died on me conveniently 3 months after VM's warranty was up and i had just purchased a $20 phone card + had airtime credits which were not refundable.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best phone ever!
I tend to be abusive to my cell phones and I must say that this Sanyo 8100 has seen the worst. It has been dropped in the mud, skidded across asphalt parking lots I don't know how many times, been subjected to rain.....you get the idea.I was at film school when I first purchased it and it is still wokring great 3 years later.I did buy an additional battiery up front, so they have been swapped on and off as I needed more talk time. The screen is still bright and clear, I love being able to set ringtones for certain callers, and I won't ever get another phone that doesn't have the photo caller ID on the outside. This is great because I can just glance at a photo and see who's calling.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Phone
Excellent Phone - Sprint tried to get me to get a new phone but this one was awesome. I loved that little phone, too bad Sprint was getting too costly for my mobile needs.
5-0 out of 5 stars Solid Phone
I have had this phone for almost two years and it has now broken in half. This has been the best phone by far I have ever owned. I have dropped it a bizzilion times and all the features still worked. It has falling off a moving car, fell in my pool, been thrown into a moving car..Nice tough phone.. Now I have to find a replacement... Ugh....I hope I can find another phone that can with stand the abuse and recklessness of the 8100. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Seems rather problematic
Ok... first allow me to explain my situation.I just signed up for Nextel services 3 days ago and recieved my new phone the day after I signed up.At first everything was fine with it or so it seemed, it didn't pick up reception in my home but living in a generally rural area I thought that it was excuseable. When I talked to people on my phone my indicator said that I was recieving a full signal but they were having a hard time understanding what I was trying to say, it was as if it would only transfer half of what I was saying, rather frustrating to say the least. The next day, after reading the user reviews (should have done that before I bought the phone!!) I called Nextel to see if it was a problem with the phone. They instructed me to preform what is called a 3 finger test with this model while I was on a land line.Basically you hold down any 3 consecutive numbers while the phone is off and power it back on still holding down the numbers. It will take you to a diagnostics of sorts and the phone will test all of it's systems.I found out through that that the phone is truly faulty and am having a replacement sent this week.Unfortunately, since I had used the phone for over 30 minutes I couldn't get a different model, which I thought a little stupid since it's hard to discover a problem with your phone if you hadn't used it much. I have reserved hope that the new one will be better considering all the problems others have had with this phone later on down the road, mine had only been active for a day.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stay away from this phone...
After 5 months, I could no longer connect to the Nextel service. Everything else on the phone worked. I called tech support and was told the problem was with the phone and I should take it in for service. The service center said the phone could not be repaired. I paid $179 for this piece of junk. This is the first and LAST Motorola product I'll ever buy. I've owned 4 other brands of cell phones and never had a problem with any of them.

1-0 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE
Before even having this phone for a year the outside of my flip went out and will no longer display the time or date,. The phone will power off whenever it feels like (including during calls), and sometimes will not turn on for up to 15 minutes regardless of if it has full battery life or not. At times when I am charging it, it will tell me I have an invalid battery, though the battery I am using is one that came with the phone originally. It also will register having an invalid charger on every one of the three Nextel chargers I have. When I contacted Motorola, I was told I would have to pay $50 dollars for pick up to send it in and be repaired and have the shutting off problem fixed, despite the fact that it is still under warranty. They also told me it would be an additional $170 dollars to fix my flip. I don't know why these problems have happened. I haven't even so much as dropped the phone. It has been very well taken care of, it is fairly expensive, and for some odd reason it couldn't even hold up for a year. All and all this phone has given me headaches everyday for the past few months and there is no way I will ever purchase a Motorola phone again. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Great interface, but little resistance to damage.
I had this phone for a month and I loved it. It is easy to use and small. The interface is simple and can easily be understood without an instruction manual. It doesn't however have good resistance to water damage.I used the phone after a work out and the sweat from my face was enough to permanently damage the phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Samsung phones are "solid" racking up Vegas award shows
This phone has color so you can find it...a v good ear piece-hands free/okay speaker phone...but my fave is a window w/ date/time...day of week..hehe...for me...I love it!
5-0 out of 5 stars Cute phone!
I just got this phone for free with my T-mobile family plan. it's a really cute phone - small, pretty and very light. it's a really basic phone with no camera, but with features you'll need (calculators, alarms, to-do list, unit conversion, etc). The ringtones that came with it is pretty nice, not too cheesy or too complicated. I also like the red color of this phone. It's different than anything else I've seen. The battery life is average. I charge the phone every three days or so, and I use it maybe an hour every day. Reception signal is also average, the same as other phones.

1-0 out of 5 stars Samsung t319 -- not what i expected
I used to have a T309 and was told this was the exact same thing, except upgraded and better. THAT IS NOT THE CASE! The T319 doesn't capture video (something I used quite often with my old phone). It also doesn't have as many color options with it or ringtones. It lags every time I sign onto AIM. I have never been more unhappy with a new phone. If I could give this phone zero stars, I would.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not really an upgrade over other Samsung models
I use a phone mainly for talking, T9 texting, basic camera, alarm, and phonebook.I've had 6 cell phones over 3 years mostly because I have a big problem with losing them, so I'm fairly familiar with Nokia and Samsung brands. This one replaced the Samsung e335 that I loved (but lost). As a comparison, I don't like this one as much.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Edition
I've used, and enjoyed, the normal form-factor BBs, and at upgrade time I was torn between the 8700 and the 7100g.While the email capabililty is a must, I'd grown tired of talking into what appeared to be a calculator.Besides the bulky ergonomics, I couldn't get past the idea that my voice just couldn't reach the microphone with the older form-factor (7290, etc...).
1-0 out of 5 stars Blackberry 7100
Reception is horrible... Very hard to hear a conversation unless you have the bluetooth...
1-0 out of 5 stars Frustratingly subpar device
Consistently dropped called, extermely poor reception (in areas where other blackberries work perfectly fine), horrendous ear-and-mouth-piece for both listening and speaking into, flawed flawed flawed performance...I mean I can't even use call waiting without dropping both lines. The half-QWERTY keypad is alright but you might want to go for the full keypad...otherwise it beats the purpose of having a blackberry. Address book maintence is poorer than a standard cell phone. I can't short-cut add a number into my addressbook without copying/pasting the number into my address book explictly. Overall...stay away from this piece of junk, wait a couple of months and shell some money for the Motorola Q (the RazorBerry). ... Read more
