I've had my Tracfone for about 5 months now. The reception has been generally good. Once i got the phone activated, I haven't had any problems. Love my phone!
This phone is great! I had this phone since January! I love my speakerphone, this come in handy for me since i'm always on the go! the thing I can't stand is that I can't type anything in the display or have screensaver. Other then that it's worth it!

pretty junky
I am not a fan of this phone.I've had it for about a year, and is is experiencing a long, slow, death.The features are nothing to write home about, and I would not say it is durable (both the internal and external displays are now cracked).The camera is ok, but there is very little memory inside the phone, and i never found a way to get pictures off the phone without emailing/SMS-ing them, which Cingular charges *way* too much for.I am probably going to break my contract with cingular and suck up the termination fee, rather than trying to get this thing to last another year.

Very good prepaid phone
I love this phone. It has replaced my contracted service and it performs just as well. Reception is just as well as with my contracted service. (It uses many networks,so signal is never a problem). Stable and useful, but not terribly exciting (now)
I've had this phone for about a year now, and I've been pretty impressed with it.It's just enough of a geek toy to get stares and comments, but, having bought it for $100, it didn't exactly break the bank.I'm a linux guy, so it's also nice to have the option of using an SSH client (TuSSH) through the device to control my home system...I also have Eudora and EudoraWeb installed, which do a lot for the functionality.

Try tracfone instead !!!
Tracfone gives better deals in minutes.It is perfect for those with light, in town usage. It only uses one unit per minute, two if you're outside of your area code(roaming), and long distance doesn't cost any extra. The airtime doesn't cost a fortune, and you have no credit checks, or monthly bills. Reception is good because they utilize many different providers instead of just one. They also have a referral program, so you can earn 100 extra minutes for free if your friends and family buy one too(they also get 180 minutes).
