2-0 out of 5 stars Mediocre
The plasma screen cracked within one month of purchase. The phone never fell nor did I treat it roughly. It just cracked in my pocket.
2-0 out of 5 stars Utter Krap
I'm really not that selective about cell phones.I don't want a camera, I don't care what it looks like, I don't need no fancy bluetooth garbage.I just want a phone that will call people, and I really like voice dialing, which was one of the reasons I selected this phone. That was where my disappointment began.
4-0 out of 5 stars This thing is built like a tank!!!
First of all I agree that the speakerphone is not the best but I'm here to tell you that this thing is built like a tank.I have dropped this phone no less than 50 times; on sidewalks, subway, running, etc., and it just keeps going and going.Yes, it's a no frills phone but I challenge you to find a tougher phone. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Very Bad Workmanship
The quality of this phone is a joke. The first problem was the hinge of the flip up part.It started having problems almost immediately with with the hinge sticking and cracking from regular use. In less than a year in had shorted out completely. The only good things about it a couple of loud ringers.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
4-0 out of 5 stars Great Basic Phone
If you're not a techy person, don't talk a lot and looking for a simple phone, this is a good one. I've had this phone for over a year with T-mobile. I never had any problems with my lcd screen that the other reviewers have experienced.
1-0 out of 5 stars Buy some thing else
The worst cell phone I have ever owned. PLEASE PLEASE dont waste your money on this paper weight. The screen gave problem on day 3, ever since then there has been some kind of problem or the other with this phone. We have two as part of a family plan and both have the exact same problem with the display screen. I hope Motorola people are reading this. Never again will I buy ANYTHING motorola. They just lost a valuable customer. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Phone
This is a good phone and it does a lot of things I just wished it was smaller and that the sound on the MP3 player was louder when using headphones

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Phone I've Ever had (I've had 5)
I'm 13 years old, and I recently purchased this phone to replace my Motorola V276 prepaid cell phone (Had that for like a month, had to get a new one because they charge you a dollar a day even when you dont make calls. So it was way too expensive, it cost $45 in prepaid cards after only a month) Anyway, this phone is excellent.
4-0 out of 5 stars Could be better.
I needed a cell phone, and I didn't want to be attached to contracts so I knew I was going to have prepaid. Virgin Mobile seemed the best for Pre-Paid (believe me, I reserched like every phone company). This phone is decent for camera/video/mp3. The phone, itself, is a slider phone. I thought I'd try a slider after I had a bar and a flip phone. If you do buy this phone, BUY A COVER! Since there's nothing to cover your main screen, it gets scratched easily. It looks terrible in the light. The functions of the phone are pretty much basic. Virgin Mobile's network is great too. (And if you look at other phone reviews, the phone itself doesn't have to do with the bars you get) The only thing I don't like is how virgin Mobile makes the icons.

1-0 out of 5 stars Samsung VI660 is defective
Stay away from the Samsung VI660 phone. It definitely has a defect in the hinge mechanism. I have had TWO of them - both of which quickly cracked in the same location - between the hinge and an indicator light.

1-0 out of 5 stars Run away from this phone & Nextel
I had 3 different i836's and all had the same problems. The phone looks great but it ends there. The battery life is short & the signal sucks - I went from an i205 that I had for 5 years - to the 836 which cut off 36% of my calls (according to Nextel's own records) - this phone is the worst phone I ever used - it goes from full signal (5 bars) to no service all day long - just back and forth. I use about 6000 minutes a month and I need a dependable phone and service provider.I wasted hours and hours arguing with Nextel and got nowhere. After 2 months of torture I cancelled my service with Sprint / Nextelthey charged me $200 temination fee and refused to allow me to return the $100 i836.I went into Verizon, got a Kyocera phone and it works great. I'm paying more for my monthly service, but it just works - with no hassles. The i836 is now a $300 paperweight. I would rather stick needles in my eyes then deal with Sprint / Nextel again. What a way to treat a 9 year loyal customer Nextel.Way to go.......

2-0 out of 5 stars I want my money back
For looks it is a nice phone, for everyday use... Dont waste your money. Not good signal, terrible sound on the speaker and very delicate to most regular use. I used for a long time the i90c... I miss it even though it was a bigger phone. I would not recomend it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Nice Looking Piece Of Junk!
This phone is awful, I upgraded because my i80 (?) an old nextel brick was just too big and it snapped in half. this phone is the smalles they make right now. It has horrible battery l;ife, I am on my second battery because it will just cut out without warning when I am on the phone and have barely used it after a full charge. the signal is terrible, I don't have reception in places that I did with my older phone. the case scratches and chips easily and it just doesn't work!! If I paid for the phone I would have given it up long ago, but I use it for work heavily, dc and phone - when the battery is charged it does work fine. Another annoying thing is the volume buttons on the outside of the phone are easily pressed if the phone is in your pocket and will take itself off of vibrate without you knowing.

1-0 out of 5 stars Why can't I rate it lower?
I've had this phone for over a years.Well not this phone specifically, this model. My first one had some operational issues (lost settings, camera issues, buttons not responding, no over-the-air update working) so Sprint said to take into the store for evaluation and update. They couldn't even get it sync up with their systems. So they ordered me a refurb.
1-0 out of 5 stars Worst cell phone I have ever owned
Nothing wrong with mine specifically i.e. it is not in need of repair. Neat design. Camera is useless. Has MUCH MUCH worse reception than OLDER Sprint phones in same areas. I drop calls constantly. Hard to believe older phones worked better. Battery life is horrific, worse I have ever had across all cell phones I have owned. Gives about 30 seconds battery warning before shutting down. I compare this to same service provider, same locations, older Sprint phones and it is absolutely terrible. Sub-par is an understatement. You'd be better off buying a refurb Sanyo. At least it will perform basic functions properly.

1-0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware
I got this phone with my new contract with Sprint. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, especially considering my experience with cellular phones in the past, they're hardly indestructible and all of them have their flaws. However, it would power off randomly, which I accepted as just a minor inconvenience.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not horrible, but I wouldn't recommend it!
I have had this phone for about 9 months.I never really had any problems with the phone such as reception or battery life.Actually, I was sort of surprised at how long I could go without charging.Speakerphone always sounded clear on my end, but occasionally the other person was unable to hear me clearly. The camera is fairly easy to use.My problems with the phone have just recently begun. The first thing to happen was that the END button stopped working completely and I could not end calls, a big problem when you weren't planning to leave a voicemail! The only other option was to close the phone to end calls.Shortly after that, the phone couldn't recognize it was closed. It thought it was always OPEN!I couldn't see who was calling from the external screen and at times, the phone would answer itself.More recently, my TALK button has been shorting out, as well as the OK button.Sprint is willing to offer a replacement phone for $35 or a new keypad for about the same.I am stuck with this phone until I'm eligible for a free phone or I can switch carriers altogether.Choose wisely!

1-0 out of 5 stars Will not Charge!
Had this phone a little over a year, same problem as everyone else. Won't charge. Shows charged, but then make one call and it is dead.

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible sound quality.Stay away!
I have had this phone for almost a year now, and although the signal reception is great, the sound quality on this phone is HORRIBLE!I have to ask the person calling me to repeat themselves at least once every call because the voice quality is so muddy. My wife has a different (and cheaper) phone and it sounds MUCH better. The only reason I have put up with it this long is I do not use my phone very often.I would not recommend this phone to anyone. This phone sounds worse than any other phone I have owned.Stay away from this phone!!! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars The Worst Phone I Ever Had
I've been through quite a few phones in the past couple years (Nokia, LG, Motorola, and now this Samsung) and I have got to say that this is by far the worst of the bunch. This phone fails at almost everything that makes a cellphone good. The reception is terrible (A two minute conversation takes 10 minutes because you and the person on the other end always need to repeat yourselves), It does not keep your contacts organized very well (multiple entries for the same person if they have more than one number...), a ludicrous "Push to talk" feature that is entirely worthless...even the alarm clock is needlessly complicated.
1-0 out of 5 stars I hate this phone!!
I bought 2 of these phones in April because of the Push to Talk feature.

1-0 out of 5 stars I was a STi user and dropped them like a Rock!
There was a time when STi was one of the best Pay as u go services until they added their every day fees. There is no way to look at your account usage which should be added now that they charge a fee. When you have to roam get ready to pull out your credit card cause it's extra in most areas. Do a search for cellguru.net and find out about the better offers available. But not STi. I liked when there was not a everyday fee and put up with the roam where I just would drive where there was no roam. The minutes I paid for went 85% towards there daily fees. The phone was just a regular flip phone nothing special.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Phone -Great Service!
I recently switched from a contract cellular plan to a prepaid plan because I was tired of paying high bills, outrageous telecom taxes, etc. After I did a lot of research with various prepaid cell phone companies I selected STi Mobile and could not be happier. They have the lowest rates; no hidden fees; and their minutes don't expire.Who could ask for more?
1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy, worst ever phone plan and customer service

3-0 out of 5 stars A mixed bag review

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Style and Quality
I have had this phone for about a month now and am very familiar with its operation and features. When I first took it out of the box, I was extremely impressed by its looks. The black and silver contrast against one another very well for a beautiful finish. The screen is extremely large and very shiny when the LCD is not lit. It does collect fingerprints easily, but simply wiping the screen on a shirt or something for a few seconds cleans it right up.

152. Motorola V65p Push to Talk Phone (Verizon Wireless)
by Verizon Wireless
Wireless Phone
list price: $349.99
Asin: B0009N5LHA
Average Customer Review: 3.0 out of 5 stars

Editorial Review

This basic phone from Motorola just got better. Like its predecessor, the V60p, it has push-to-talk capabilities, but with the addition of a color main screen and a larger supplementary screen. With a push-to-talk subscription from Verizon Wireless, you can communicate walkie-talkie style with a co-worker or entire teams anywhere in the country. The V65p more than pulls its weight as a cell phone, text messenger, and wireless web client, as well.
