3-0 out of 5 stars The Good the Bad and the Ugly
I got this phone with Verizon service. If you look at the features, it seems like a pretty impressive piece, but if you want to use it for other than just a phone, you have to deal with many shortcomings.

Here's the latest contender in the race to build the thinnest, most stylish phone on the planet. In fact, the Samsung t509 is one of the skinniest phones money can buy, measuring just .39 inches thick, or 10 millimeters. Amazingly, this phone also happens to pack a lot of features into its svelte frame, including Bluetooth, a VGA camera, support for EDGE high speed data, a speakerphone, and more. It's a the perfect way to slim down and take advantage of T-Mobile service.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars God I wish it worked better
This is a sleek little phone that I wish so very much would work better.I had it for two weeks. Most of the time it worked fine, however, sometimes I would go to pick it up off the counter where it had been sitting for hours and it would give me an error if I tried to push any buttons or make any calls. It would need to be restarted before it stopped doing this.Other times the screen would just go bright white and stay that way until I powered down the phone.
1-0 out of 5 stars I HATE THIS PHONE!!!!
After going through 2 Razr phones T-mobile offered me this phone as a replacement and I took it cause my warranty on the Razr was almost up and I would get a year warrenty with the T509... you couldn't PAY me enough to keep this phone for an entire year!

Motorola's PEBL U6 is the second model in Motorola's high-end "four-letter word" line, following the super popular RAZR V3. The PEBL takes some of the same materials and technologies used in the RAZR and packages them into a completely different kind of clamshell handset. While the RAZR is all about thin, sharp angles, the PEBL is more about design, making use of soft curves and smooth lines throughout.

1-0 out of 5 stars BUYER BEWARE - Be Very Aware!
I will keep this review brief because every other review points out all of the very good, and very valid features of the 2125. In fact, I agree with just about every positive comment ever made - this is the best phone I have ever owned. EXCEPT FOR ONE VERY MAJOR DESIGN FLAW: When the keys are locked, two buttons remain active on the phone: The ANSWER key and the IGNORE key. These are the two soft buttons just under the screen. The problem is that these are the two highest buttons on the phone. So when a call comes in and the phone is in your pocket or in the included case, you inevitably end up pushing one of these two buttons in the process of trying to get it out of your pocket or out of the case. That means that the phone is not really locked at all! In fact, you almost always end up answering a call before you can even see who is calling. I have even unknowingly answered calls while the phone was still in its case! This translates into people hearing your private conversations without you even knowing that they are on the line.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great phone with great media features!
The Cingular 2125 is a Windows Mobile 2005 (WM5) Smartphone with Windows Media Player 10 and an excellent QVGA (240x320) screen. If you have Windows Media Player you can easily sync music and videos to the phone, if you have a Windows Media Center then you can sync television and movies which is handy for long flights. The phone supports "Flight Mode" which turns off the phone portion making it okay to use on a plane. This has been one of teh best phones I've owned, the email push works great if your company uses an Microsoft Exchange server, not as good but works very well is any POP3/SMTP server.
5-0 out of 5 stars Power button problem is now fixed.
I purchased this phone on July 1st. I was afraid the power button be hard to press, push, pull down or whatever, since I read many reviews complaining about it. When I checked with a store, it was really hard to. Despite that fact, I decided to purchase it and found it the power button is now changed!!!!

Disclaimer: This review only pertains to the Cingular version.A friend of mine has Verizon's and none of these criticisms apply; it's like a completely different phone.
2-0 out of 5 stars Cool look, but that's about it
After all the hype, I decided to get a Razr. I was surprised that it wasn't cooler. I'm not sure what I expected it to do, but it's a phone, not a super hero.
5-0 out of 5 stars SIMPLY THE BEST
This is simply the best cellphone I have ever seen.It was a Father's Day gift for my son, and he is in love with the phone! When he lets me use the phone, I have been amazed. The speakerphone and ringer are so loud that I had to turn them down.I live in Miami, and my phone needed one of those universal antenna to get 3 or 4 bars signal. The RAZR gets 4 or 5 bars signal almost everytime, and I never lost a call or the signal anywhere. The phone is so slim that I have forgotten it was in my pocket, and it is going to take him months to learn ALL of its features! There are so many accessories, games and services for the V3 RAZR that I feel lucky for my son to have one WITHOUT having yet another monthly bill.Simply amazing phone... ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointment
One of the reasons I bought this phone was for the MP3 player. That was a mistake. After loading the player with music on a micro SD card, the player freezes after playing just one song and it has to be restarted. Also, the information about the song, (such astitle and genre) does not fully load.I have spent a lot of time tagging my music so it was frustrating when the player showed tagged songs as "unknown".Also, the player automatically loads up the "sprint store" every time you want to play music, which becomes annoying after a while.Funny, the features to buy music work great.Guess the priorities are clear.
5-0 out of 5 stars Nice phone.BUT you can't buy a battery for it anywhere!!!
Everything about this phone is great.Well, the FM feature is weak. The thing that really worries me is you can't buy another battery for it anywhere. What happens when the battery dies?

5-0 out of 5 stars Great phone
When I bought this phone recently, the Sprint salesman said, "the only thing that this phone can't do is fly."He's right.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great phone; no complaints except for headphone plug...
This is a very nice phone and does a lot of things. It is very small and easy to carry. It's a very practical phone for most people, although it does not sync to Outlook (I don't think anyway). The nice thing about this phone is that it's a good phone, first and foremost. Good reception, decent battery life. I like all the apps it can run, like Alarm Clock, and Calculator, Voice Memos. Have not used the voice recognition yet, but I just got a BT headset for use in the car, so I think I'll start using voice with that.
3-0 out of 5 stars Some design flaws; positive features not dicsussed here.
About the internal antenna. (This is an important point if you use the phone in areas with low signal levels.) The phone does not have a sticking-out antenna. In general, that's a bad sign: the signal reception may be worse. However, I compared the reception and signal levels to my older Motorola V66 (made in 2002) which has a sticking-out antenna, and Samsung was on par. After that, I decided not to return the phone.
1-0 out of 5 stars Good for Samsung, Bad for you
I bought this as a follow up to the Nokia 6600 that I had for two years. It was a great phone albeit a little bulky, but it was very reliable.

4-0 out of 5 stars better than my last phone, but could be better
If you want a phone that does a lot, don't get this one. When I was shopping for a new phone I wanted one that was small, loud, and vibrated strongly.I had a hard time hearing my old phone (a Samsung x427m) ring or feeling it vibrate in my purse.I wasn't looking for a phone that did a lot or had bluetooth. If you have the same requirements for a cell phone as I do, then this phone is a great option. It's small, it's loud, and it vibrates off the table.
1-0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!
Too good to be true?Yep!You CANNOT port another number to this service contract and if you change your service in any way, they will stick you with a $250 charge. If you don't care what phone # they give you, then go for it.If you are just trying to save a few bucks, don't bother.Time is more valuable than getting this mess straight!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome for someone whose a kid at heart who wants everything. . .
I LOVE this phone. I got the Razr and didn't like it. . . so I was frustrated and like "just let me buy that little phone" while speaking to cingular. WELL, This is such a rad weird phone. The graphics are so fun and almost . . . french weird or something, there is a Clown that pops up when you want to take a picture. The online stuff works perfect, texting, downloading games, tones, etc. I love this phone. It's like super "japan" cute animation phone for the kid at heart. . . and I'm sure any teen would like it. I lOVE IT. It's my favorite I've ever had, granted I am very young at heartt. ;) It is a lil power house. ... Read more

The sleek, easy-to-use LG VX5300 offers all the great features of its predecessor, the LG VX5200, but adds a lighter design and an improved display.
