1-0 out of 5 stars If only there were a zero star rating.....
I have been a loyal customer or ATT for years and upgraded from a problem free Nokia 3360 to this flimsy piece of garbage. This is, hands down, the most horrible phone I have ever owned. For starters, the case is made of cheap plastic which would be ok if the inner components were of superior quality, but they are not. In this case, you can definitely judge a book by its cover. If you are going to talk more than 15 min's, have the charger ready because the battery will die. Of course, you will only get to use the charger if the phone LETS you stay connected for 15 min's. For me, the average is 7. Then the phone will either drop the call or the unit itself will just shut down. And keep in mind, the entire time you are talking there is static and calls fade or blank in and out. The phone gets very, very hot while in use, standby time is non-existant and the extremely smudge-friendly display is a constant annoyance. I could go on, but won't. Read the other reviews and make an intelligent decision. Decide against this bug-ridden device.

1-0 out of 5 stars Worse Phone EVER
I was with Nextel for years and went through many Motorolas with no complaints then I came to ATT and got this phone. Oh my goodness it's SO awful. Every compaint you have ever heard about any cellphone ever... I've expirenced that problem with my phone. I can't be on a phone call for longer than three minutes without the call being dropped, my calls are never clear, I could go on and on... just trust me on this one... this phone=bad

    1-0 out of 5 stars Awful...just awful
Bought 2 of these at top dollar ~1yr ago for me and my wife .. same 'ol story .. dropped calls, poor reception, emergency only status in high reception areas, phone turns off out of the blue, voicemail alerts coming through days after the fact (after a phone reboot), etc, etc, etc.....and "NO" it's not the provider - I've been with AT&T Wireless for over 10 years and have had the original analog Moto flip phones, several different Nokias, and now these - never has it been this bad, even in the old analog and early digital days.Phone has nice features, nice look, color display, slim & lightweight design - it's just a POS. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars It deserves something for the technology alone
But I was hoping a bit more mobility while using the phone. My review is not to necessarily disuede anyone from purchasing this product, but instead to have a clear picture of reality , so as to avoid possible dissappointment.

I've had this product for only a few months,so I want to possible leave the opportunity to come back and update my review should the situation change. I have not been able to investigate other possible causes for this low volume problem. I am planning to look into ways to possible boost my antenna. I live in a large city and could be having a "noise" problem, but I'm not techy, so I shall reserve this being an isolated incident. Should the situation change in the coming months, I shall definately come back and revise my statement. (and stars)

While not a problem of this desktop device, one of the reason for this accessory being necessary is the placement of buttons on the Motorola phone. On one side there are three small buttons that I cannot seem to avoid pressing as I am picking up the phone to answer it. It never fails....phone rings, I hit the wrong button and chaos............
I was so happy that this desktop accessory solved my problem with hitting the wrong button, that I never thought there might be a volume problem.
    So...............time will tell........

5-0 out of 5 stars Works Great - Nice and Clear
As soon as I opened the package, I called about 4 people to test the clarity, and it was great. When you dial with the speakerphone attached, it sounds like the volume is too low, but it does get comfortably louder.Everyone I talked to say they heard me clear, and I heard all of them clear.I love it in the car also.It is very lightweight and pretty easy to stick in your pocket to use everywhere. The only thing I would add, is allowing voice-activated dialing while it is attached. And it would be nice to have a plastic carrying case to protect it while taking it "everywhere" I go.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great add on for the hearing impaired
Beats the hell out of any other hands free system.Plug it in sit it next to yourself in your vehicle and your done.Quality audio reception and voice transfer.Really niceadd on for your motorola cell.A must have for anybody that has hearing in one ear like myself. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Dont get this phone
I have this phone and i dont get good reception when im in buildings. The end call button stops working sometimes and you have to turn it off in order to end your call.It is cracking at the top part where it flips. My boyfriend had this problem when he had the motorola 720 and it broke, and he had to get a new phone. My advice is not to get a flip phone because eventually it will break and you will need a new phone. Also, the screen gets dirty easily and I have to clean it with windex. It only has one game and after a week you'll get tired of it.

5-0 out of 5 stars my favorite phone
This phone is excellent. When I was first purchasing it, I was alittle skeptical of what to expect based on other reveiws. However this phone is my favorite. The only thing that I could have asked Motorola to fix is probably the camera, and maybe the speaker.Don''t get me wtrong. The camera works fine, except that if you are in a dark zone, the picture may not turn out good on the camera, but if you e-mail it to somebody, then the picture looks like it was taken from a digital camera (its that good)The problem with the speaker is that it does not play ring tones very loud, and the louder you play the ringtones, the more blury they get. A feature that I think is very cool is the internet browser. You can visit any web page you would like. All in all, I thik this phone is perfect for someone who is looking to buy a cheap updated camera phone with all the gadgets. I would rate this phone a 5 out of 5.

    3-0 out of 5 stars More con's than pro's.

    *Easy to text message.
    *Cute, comfortable design.

*There's no real alarm clock. You have to use the Datebook, and then there's no "snooze" to push.
*Pretty lousy reception.I can't use it in my apartment, where I'm always forced to use my husband's Nextel. It works fine outside, so I find myself running out of stores and my apartment when I get calls.
*The volume is low in the earpiece and also on the ringer.Even on "loud," I oftentimes don't hear it ringing.
*This is a pretty slow phone, indeed.Don't plan on taking pictures unless you have a very steady hand and a subject willing to stay still for about 15 seconds.
*The phone book doesn't store multiple numbers under one name, so you have a long list of names, one number per name.
    *The Moto game is lame.
*Scratches very easily. ... Read more
